Actually the connotation is quite similar. Its true that "peccato" means sin, but "che peccato" has a connotation more similar to "what a pity" than "what a sin"

Kudos to the translators who had to translate this from Neapolitan to Italian and then to English.
The translation was great! I noticed some weird stuff in some words and terms but it's razonable having in mind that this is targeted to a english speaking audience.

It was probably when they speaking in Neapolitan, since some words of that dialect come from either old Spanish or old French (because italy was dominated by both in history)

as an italian i know the feeling of eating a real pizza and eating a frozen pizza, and i swear it's completely different
I live in Crete (Greek island), but one of my best friends is Italian, they moved over here when he was just a baby and his parents started an Italian restaurant. So we eat a lot of pizza, lasagna too. Just before the pandemic, I travelled with my mom to Belgium for her business, but we visited a lot there too. They have a huge Italian community, lots of Italian restaurants and I eated pizza with pineapple there for the first time, and I love pineapple. When we came back to Crete, I asked Lorenzo the father of my friend if he could make me a pineapple pizza.... oooooolala, I had no clue. He gave me an hour lesson that pineapple is fruit and doesn't belong on pizza, that it's a shame, that they weren't real Italians and that Belgium should get sued for selling that. I will never ask it again, hahaha. Good luck in the euros.

It’s amazing. When I went for the first time, I had a hard time eating pizza in the US after that. The closest is New York Style pizza.

I'll never forget the meal I had with my friend in high school, his mother was from Mexico, grandma was in town visiting and cooked pork tamales with pinto beans. Still one of the best meals I've ever had in my life, she made a few with her "special poblano chilis" she canned herself, had sweat pouring down my forehead eating them, asked for another.
I'm half Mexican and my mum and Gran practically have a fit looking a Taco bell. Its hilarious but i do agree with them, taco bell is vaguely based off Mexican food and in my opinion tastes ok. But i would much rather eat some of my Grans Tamales or Gorditas any day of the week!

Im mexican and real tacos from Mexico are so much better, in here there are a bunch of places to eat tacos literally on the streets and they are way better.
Toffee 11 Im pretty sure you have a bias. Most Taco restaurants are owned by mexicans who wanted to make money in North America making food they love.
Asians say the same when it comes to Sushi Bars even though more often than not are opened by other asians who were born in asia.
Hell, we even have pizza joints that are opened by italians that get the same flak.

I’m half Japanese, and I can tell these Italian grandmas remind me of us of food. What is called sushi in California is sometimes not really sushi here in Japan. Like the California rolls-like what is that?!😂
While I am an open minded person, I am reminded of Japanese ketchup Spaghetti and a saying about glass houses and throwing stones.
Well as the name suggests... It uses ingredients that are commonly eaten and available in California. It's no longer the 1600s or 1800s. Ingredients that were near impossible to find in other parts of the world are now attainable in your local shops. People are now able to travel and see other cultures. Naturally this will evolve and create hybrid foods.
Even in pizza. Odd to call it authentic when tomatoes come from the New World.
Original sushi had simple ingredients because...1. It was supposed to be an easy street food and 2. They had to use ingredients that were available in the local area
