TUNE READY!! ⚡ VRSF Intercooler + Charge Pipe BMW M2 F87 Install

- Hey everyone, welcome back to Daily Downshift! To continue our build we are installing a VRSF Intercooler and Charge Pipe on the BMW M2. We decided to do both at once because it was the perfect opportunity to do so. The stock intercooler on this BMW was so small, which meant that it was a no brainer to change. And since we're going to tune the car we thought we should install the charge pipe to avoid any future issues of cracking the OEM plastic. We plan on adding plenty more horsepower, so future proofing is the smart way to go! With that said, we are extremely happy with the fit and finish of these products. We hope you enjoy!

If you guys are planning on tuning your car these 2 supporting mods are highly recommended. We had a fun time installing them and we hope you enjoy!
Love the tune. But I’d give up on that beard homie 😂
Hey there is 2 options for the intercooler 5" and a 6.5" what one do you did you use?
Hey bro I try to install that charge pipe but the gasket is in the way I can put in all the way to the top, how did you able to put that charge pipe with gasket ?
Are They Any Test That i can do to make sure everything is seal? I have bought a used Wagner fmic
Is there a vrsf chargepipe + intercooler 2 in one kit for sale? So I don’t have to buy them separate
What size Intercooler is it ?
Nice! Just curious , being bigger , do u notice if there is any more turbo lag from stock after the new intercooler?
Nope, not at all!
Hi, is it possible to use the OG cover under the IC? I saw some other vids of other IC, and they are to big, so no cover is possible.
I used the OG cover and didn’t change anything else with this intercooler. Fit no problem
CEL?
@5:26 it looks pretty oily in the old charge pipe.
Why would you choose vrsf over Wagner intercooler?
We were going to work with VRSF on the charge pipe so it just made sense to also do the intercooler with them. Seeing as how they interact with each other so closely, it’s a no brainer. The Wagner one is fantastic as well though.
Curious, why did you remove the steel under-engine "stiffening plate"? It doesn't seem like that needs to come off in order to get the plastic section up front out, and I think that's all you need to drop the intercooler, no?
This was a few years ago so I can't recall, but I'm sure we didn't take it off for no reason. There must have not been enough clearance.
Hey dude, how are you enjoying the intercooler after 2 years? How has it performed?
Don't have the car anymore, but it was absolutely fabulous! VRSF made an exceptional product.. temps always stayed super low even on tune during track days.
That's awesome, glad to hear you had positive results.
How much money do you think you save by doing these mods yourself? Keep it USD for us Yanks.
At least $200-400 each mod
