I'm going to play chief RF for the first time this league, sketched up an atlas tree yesterday. I think I'll go Betrayal + Incursion, with breach and harvest if I can fit them.
Have not done breach in a long time, what do you think of the current state of breach / harby nodes? They seem like a great fit for RF, but I 'm not sure if they're still considered underwhelming.

I wonder for SSF how many scarabs will rain down if you spec full scarab drop chance with maybe the map mod effect nodes.
idk when the extra atlas trees unlock, but having one for progression, one for simple farming with scarabs/harbinger etc, and then one for more specific farming is probably my plan.
Hopefully it's more than what we had with operative strongboxes. SSF scarabs have always been scarce, hopefully this'll help :|
i decided since my last comment that i most certainly will start with your chieftain guide this league, i just figured out that you have lootfilters, any reccomendation wich ones to use for ssf? because some are last touched in 3,22 , was woundering if you update the ssf one? love ya
Hi! I watched the chieftain 3.24 video he made 3 days ago and I think he mentions that for the chieftain campaign he just uses the JUGG/INQ filter.

i think ill just grab unwavering vision (20 atlas points) then put all the points into adjacent map drop % so its almost like I got wandering path back. atleast until atlas is almost filled in.
Only thing im worried about with RF is the single target dps, might feel bad in t17s
as you are traveling towards your red maps (say in white or early yellows), even if unintended, you may see other league mechanics show up. Do you typically do these or skip till red maps? I know one can play however, but is it better to be efficient by skipping or are there certain mechanics too valuable to miss while moving up tiers?
If you want a reference point you can always look at what the racers will do. They skip almost all league mechanics unless it is directly related to a piece of gear they are hunting. However this depends on their goal. If you are in a trade league the best way to make currency isn't always to race to red maps. But skipping league mechanics is definitely the fastest way to reach red maps with the current meta
God i have been playing your rf last league as a starter and league before changes to rf. Last league made me quit rf and now im struggling with picking a build to start with... I have did huge CA Pathfinder last league, but i feel bored with it. Do you (and you guys) have an idea what i could try this league. Im looking for like build to start and finish league with. That i would have to work on it full league but with like 5 d investment is still good. Wanted to try spliting steel champion, but leveling is so bad until 4th act. Thanks for any ideas that i can check. Have nice one

What's your take on going straight for Concealed Logistics and Strongbox nodes to boost the ability to acquire maps ?
Operative boxes removed. Now not fun at all. Removed as 10% chance reopen. I bet its good for mf strat, not open atlas

Im playing your RF Chieftain League Starter on HC SSF and its going well Im level 43 now. Im trying to get a loot filter is the JUG one the same as the RF one. RF one is out of date says. want load
jugg/inq also works for chief. If it's saying it's not working i'll check on monday and see what update got pushed. I was using it just yesterday and everything was working

Pohh, did you pick a setting so the game doesn't omega freeze when you pop an entire expedition? My game freezes and it unfreezez me dead because a couple of mobs survived and killed me serverside
I used to use vulcan and it lagged in such situations, in this league I decided to test the dx12 and it turned out to be much better

i believe doomed spirits are the necropolis craft system.
Be careful with overshooting the chance to get a mechanic to spawn, expedition especially, you can get like 116% from tree alone, together with a base of 10% i think? and then the blocking nodes if you ever touch them
there is no overshooting, since its not flat?
@@jacobreichert836 it is indeed considered as flat if you wish to think of it in this way. With 100% (including base chance to encounter the mechanic) you will see it every map.
It's +8% chance which is different from 8% increased.
@@jacobreichert836 these nodes are +8% flat chance to the mechanic spawning, its not 8% increase of the 10% base chance, the buffs to these nodes in some cases are so big that you can go over the 100% chance for a mechanic to appear which doesnt do anything, and pretty easly at that,
For Commissioned Officer, I only have 6% increased chance for grant of an additional Kirac Mission, not 1 additional per day.

Quick question, what do you mean by "Chieftan doesn't care about fire res alters"?
Chieftain has access to ascendancy - Ramako, Suns light, which makes nearby enemies have -20% fire res while stationary, it is actually not decreased by, its -20% right there. So even though the altars might buff enemies fire res quite a bit, we dont care as its still -20%. Also, at the end of Shield charge we count as stationary for like 0,2 seconds, so we shouldnt worry too much about moving.

Never did RF before but I know you’re the guy to follow. My only question is can I zero to hero it and do Uber Ubers? You think it’ll be able to do t17 bosses?
I believe in one of his previous vids he says its great from campaign to T16 and excellent for mapping depending on your build but anything past that requires stupid amounts of investments.
I don’t want to play a brand, trap , mine ballista or totem build to be able to boss, so I’m hoping I can just keep investing in RF to do all content
@@davidfenstersheib7571as someone who's spent around 80div on righteous fire, and has a pretty good understand of it, what you want and what this build provides are 2 different things. RF is absolutely not a single-target gem, don't try to make it one. Fire trap is much better at it, but if you want a boss rusher, or a build to do uber pinnacle bosses, look for a different build. RF is a mapping skill, and fire trap is simply to help kill those slightly tankier mobs.
I don't want to farm them, just be able to kill them. Is it possible to do that with RF/FT without

Hey, Your inquis guide has seemingly 2 different endgame setups. Utulas and Aegis, however when in the guide while it is very well put together, it doesnt explain the differences or why utulas is highlighted red, did i miss you explaining this somewhere?
utula should be cheaper for league starting then you swap to aegis/melding

Chieftain has more damage actually, but have a little less of armor. Jugg have the same but in reverse.
I tried both and In my opinion, I think Chieftain adapts better to everything, it has more dmg and u have the possibility of scaling the damage a little, thanks to the passive that explodes everything.
On the other hand, with Jugg it will be almost impossible to die basically cause of his lot of armor that the passive offers, but it will also take you forever to kill bosses for my taste.
@Pohx Kappa dude you should gun for +20 free atlas points but going through the center to gain the +15 and 1% to kirac just as a progression tree

@sillakilla8674 If it costs 10 to get 20, then the profit is 10 points. As long as it's profitable, it's worth taking.
Why don't you focus on the Map Equity (Shaping) nodes? Afaik those are THE most important nodes due to how Map drops work internally, which leads to more Map drops and sustain (and in Trade Maps = Currency.)

As someone who never did Jun, how hard is it to tackle that content blind? Im little scared of it :
its difficult to min/max and some of the enemies it throws at you are dangerous but overall its fairly easy to get into.
@@BuckRodgers3 were there any big changed this league that would invalidate older guides? I know pohx has some Betrayal guide video, so Im wondering if its still valid (other than changing drops bcs new scarabs ofc)
@@ducky50887Mechanics seem unchanged but a lot of the loot drops seem different because of the switch to scarabs. Most of the guides will probably not be worth watching for setup strats because they were all about putting certain people in certain groups to get specific drop pools.
@@ducky50887 It depends if the other safehouses get reworked and are worth running. Right now it seems that you kind of rush intervention for scarabs and focus on Catarina.
Guides will still provide a lot of value since the only loss this league will be the missing sextant to speed farm Catarina.
@@ducky50887 In terms of how betrayal works, no, i believe ziz has a pretty good one, but yes you will need to ignore the rewards section because that all changed
Searing Exarch can be extremely detrimental against RF due to altars very commonly annihilating Regen, Fire res, Flask effectiveness, etc. survival mods.
How is the mapping experience like when you could easily encounter a nice upside but build-disabling downside, so you're forced to only a single option, compared to the relatively tamer on anti-RF Eater? The former is definitely better consistent, sustained income compared to the latter who everybody wants the big payout without much else interesting on offer, but the mental strain of the proposed altar mod situation does weigh on me, even as a seasoned player.

Pohx, unwavering vision is just bait for the rush, you spend 11 points to gain 9 due to those 11 selections all being 3% scarabs which would then be useless. Thats 11 points you could have had filled with Jun/Expedition/Kirac, it would be more effective to pick up UV after you have completed the areas in bottom right that you pick up straight after UV.
Its a complete waste of time and will cost you efficiency
I would be allocating those 11 regardless. I think it's fine, I definitely want to try the new keystone
@@PohxKappaOh I'm getting it too, just after initial Kirac and maps centre rush so you can blast the progression while doing Betrayal and Expedition.
Its exciting to see the changes and to see how scarabs play out to the point I think people are forgetting there is a league, which is likely why GGG are forcing us to interact with it each map lol

FLAMEWALL and FROSTBLINK requires 16 INT. I do have 14, can't use them...
You get early int on gear. The witche you level to 4 can also help you find Int gear. Worse case if you find no gear or lapis amulet is int on tree you get in. Few levels

I don't think picking unwavering vision that early is worth it. I'll pick it too, but I'll wait a little bit until I actually need to go there for expedition, betrayal or eater nodes. The net benefit is way higher in my opinion. I intend to put a bit more on kirac and map sustain before going there.
Also, be careful with extreme archology. The extra remnants notable can make it very problematic unlike it were we had Wandering Path. I personaly don't think it is worth.
Boy it will feel SO good to start the league. Blast the Atlas progression. Click 2-nd tab, allocate points and blast right away.
Oh and a small thing, if you're new/playing a weak'er build - you can complete all maps on your atlas while not going above T5. Spec heavy into map drops, Kirac missions and Scouring reports. Use Exporer's scouting reporst to roll Kiracs missions for the maps, that you haven't completed. With occasional Singular ones for unique maps. After that - you can get all 4 stones in 1 go and chill for the rest of the League. Do however keep in mind, that "yellow" maps must be rare and "red" ones must be rare AND corrupted for you to get bonus (atlas tree points) then you are completing them.
And the small reminder for the ease of "Affliction de-tox" - Boss rushing, Valdo's, Locks, T17's - all of those things and MANY-MANY more are still in the game. So, trust me - there's still 1001 way to make money in the game. It's not going to be "all of the money", sure, but you WILL have fun.

@@oskartu12 I've noticed, that in the demo they got one of the tabs after killing the Cells boss. So - probably at least one of them is based on map completion??? Dunno for sure, but it would make sence.
