      what bums me out most....is that they never met and talked game after they were out the league...he was even telling tony he was trying to meet among drinks or cigars to talk about their days crossing swords....and i can tell that un-had conversation cuts deep with tony...they could have been more than competitors with respect for eachother and crossed more into peers....and even tony knew...MAN....kob tryna build a bridge with me....a specialist.....class act. Tony rondo and KG were the only celtics i could regard with any respect as a laker die hard...bc i knew they were no bs all ball

      *The Rules changed by the NBA prevent that Defense and Defensive play we all love* Which many peope don't point out. 1950s - mid 2000s is probably best defensive basketball we will see, especially in 90s and early 2000s.

    • @k.lee28
      @k.lee28 3 года назад +7

      @@andylee6147 I understand that I'm with you but *the Refs enforce the rules that NBA wants and implements* it sucks because it cheapens the integrity of the game itself. Today's game has little to no hard perimeter defense Gray Payton, Tony Allen, MJ, Pippen Rodman, many great defenders (Rookies can enter into the league and have no defensive game, all defensive concepts are switches, play passing lanes to get steals, and impede the opponents progress to the basket) you don't even see challenges at the rim for blocks anymore like how 4x Defensive Player of the Year Dikembe mutombo & Ben Wallace use to do, you see a lot of *lane clear outs*
      This why I don't agree with analysts like Stephen A Smith who down play today's game calling it soft. *Its Soft to degree because The NBA is responsible for the rules changes NOT the players, the players just play under them* if the NBA didn't change the rules then everyone would've played under the same rules however the game does evolve as times goes on to a degree but *what was wrong with the Rules from the 90s to early 2000s nothing in my opinion* but you had *great impacts & Events like Bad Boy Pistons, NY Hardnose Knicks and the Pacers 2004 Malice in the Palace which change the NBA forever!*
      and that's way the rules changed but shouldnt have in my opinion.

      For as big as Lebron is, it's sad that he doesn't like the physicality. He gets touched on his head and you will think he just got wacked by a bat. While Kobe would always shake his head and wipe it off his shoulders no matter how hard he got hit.
