10:27 Stukov is one of the best heroes to show off on. One of my very favorite moments in HotS was on an ARAM against two li mings who were chunking us down with orb after orb after orb. I picked this talent at 13 and managed to root BOTH of them in one E, and we won before they respawned.
Also, it's incredibly satisfying to straight up murder squishy assassins who don't respect your autoattack damage. And to top it all off, the shove arm ult thing gives you armor, and I've used it to survive a pyroblast by timing it just right. So much you can do, and it's so fun to do it!

did anyone else notice that the MVP of the game where pally talks about spreading the pathogen was "omnicron" (not exact but close enough XD)

Supertip for Stu:. Constantly ping your healing CD so the team knows when to push or fall back in team fights
I think this goes for almost any healer. I especially do it for Uther, haha

I recently got him, I think he's good, but I'm not skilled enough to effectively use his kit.

To recap: Stukov was released as a Co-op commander for StarCraft 2 back in december of 2016, and for Heroes of The Storm a few months later in July of 2017.
I personally thought he was going to be a Specialist able to summon waves of endless infested terrans to attack your enemies; to reflect the playstyle he has as a commander in StarCraft 2. So it completely took me by surprise when they made him a support
Dont get me wrong he's an amazing healer and really fun, but I was expecting him to be a summoner. And even Pallytime was surprised as well when he did Stukov's theorycraft back in 2017:
"Stukov....from StarCraft......they made him a support...." - followed by some seconds of silence xD

A nice talent synergy I like to pick up is the Reactive Ballistaspores at level one, and then Pox Populi at level 16 to get two uses of the detonation in quick succession. It has some really great burst healing. Overall though, I really like Stukov's talent diversity.

Wait... didn't he get a minor rework? I seem to recall he didn't always have the ability to toggle between ranged and melee right at the start. It used to be a 1st level talent to get ranged attacks.

The main reason that flailing swipe is normally picked up on stukov is because if used into a wall, you can get an aoe stun on the entire enemy team super easily which is a gamechanger in many fights

Also, an attack speed of 0.67 attacks per second means that he attacks once every 1.5 seconds
Is the infinite pathogen bounce talent gone? I haven't played for a long time, but I enjoy the A-Z ❤️
Universal Carrier is still in the game but Pally prefers using Pox Populi at that talent tier

I know it's bad, but I always loved taking Universal Carrier with the talent that reduced your Q's cooldown when it spread. You could end up with two different Qs spreading through your team, always topping everyone off. It was really good during the double healer days alongside a Muradin.

I personally prefer Weighted Pustule builds over relying on the silence bubble. Also, you can trade against a lot of heroes when auto attacking and landing pustules

That varian not going taunt and going twin blades was so bad for the enemy team. They could have had a tank for all those team fights.

I haven't played HotS in years, but I remember people thinking making a 5 stack for quick match was toxic. Did they change the match making to make it more fair? The Stitches video and this one makes me think they never fixed it.

Stukov is my favorite healer.
His aa hits like a stacked butcher... just not nearly as often. But in some cases you can out-trade melee assassins if they're not careful, which is a lot of fun.

I would say Flailing Swipe is better than Shove, easier to use? For sure, but in the right hands (heh) Shove can prove much better. Also with such a low cooldown you can use it basically whenever.
Shove can be good, but there's much more chance of you making a mistake that messes up your team, getting it interrupted, or just getting killed because you're locked in place shoving someone across the map. Plus you can't do anything else with Stu's frankly amazing kit while you're casting it, which is the real issue.
Also can't use it across a wall, which consistently screws me up because if a buddy gets isolated on the other side of a wall, one of the ults may save him and the other absolutely won't.
I understand the frustration of unbalanced comps, but I liked more watching the real Quick Match experience, with all the struggle, rather than stomp after stomp...

58-9-1 now following your builds. Not a lot to say about this one. I personally prefer only taking the harder level 13 talent when I'm building for pustule so it has more range and is easier to hit but it worked out OK anyways. Not much to say about this one.

Man, how can you say he didn't have a rework when they smashed his original lurking arm build with a jackhammer? Used to be able to grow it, expand it, extend range all at once. None of this 4-second duration crap. Blech. I *loved* Stukov, but he's dead to me now.
