Leaving the eu is the best idea.
Labour Party is not the most pro Eu Lib
Dems are
An incredibly patient and mature man dealing with a media that doesn't care about policy, only about finding the remotest little thing to present him in a disohonest way.
+JamesTrevitt And it seems you don't care about policy either, have you actually read his policies or are you really that dumb and naive. Quantitative easing (printing money for you idiots out there) to reduce poverty is one of his policies
David Allan Oh were going for the personal insults now are we? I wouldnt bother pluralising idiot as I don't think they're all flocking to read your comments particularly. You're a bit confused about quantitative easing. The Murdoch press will accuse him of printing money in setting up an investment bank, but quantitative easing is something that happened after the crash to bail out the banks, it's not what he is doing. They're not accusing him of quantitative easing, that's the printing money bit that they justify!
Mr Corbyn's plans to harness QE from the Bank of England to fund a British "National Investment Bank". Do the left wing completely deny facts! Corbyn wants to bring about increased quantitative easing but you're too thick (try not to have a hissy fit) to listen to facts. Unfortunately it is you that is confused about Mr Corbyn's policies
David Allan I wasn't trying to deny facts, I was trying to understand what you meant. Like if you're trying to argue that pigeons are highly intelligent and then you point to a cat when you're speaking, I'm going to need to check what you're talking about first!! I don't see anything wrong with the National Investment Bank. There is a house crisis, a health crisis and poverty crisis in the UK right now. Seems pretty sensible to me. The Tories are poverty deniers, plain and simple.
And you're fact denier plain and simple
I for one will be very happy if he gives an oath to the people and not house Saxa Coburg Goetha thanks.
+shamanahaboolist So he'll have more power because he's president and be more like the tyrannical monarchy of old. Great plan!
David Allan
Nope, he'll have a party whose agenda will be dictated by votes from members.
There's no reason why we can't conserve our "theoretical head of state" who is actually a real person, whose inheritence is determined by bloodline, but as being purely theoretical.
Ha so our country will be run by communist unions, even better
David Allan
No... by party members... whether in a union or not. And what does communism have to do with anything?
Which will be primarily made up of union members. And what does communism have to do with anything?! Are you that much of a moron or do you like to pretend that Corbyn isn't a closet communist. Renationalise everything, the rich are why we can't get enough benefits, down with grammar schools, down with the Queen, there are ALWAYS SOCIALIST solutions, death to America and down with the evil free markets that actually mean we have to work to live. Corbyn is practically embodiment of MARX!
Of course you will kneel before Her Majesty the Queen of England, Scotland Northern Ireland and Wales. Long live the Queen 🇬🇧 Elizabeth ii is our Queen like it or not you have to show her the respect she deserves and the crown deserves. If you don’t like it you can leave the UK and live else where !
Why don't you go live somewhere else instead? It's the 21st century not the middle ages
Awful questions, so out of touch with the public
+AshK Some people are interested in that stuff :/
+AshK damn right mate
***** "if you disagree with me, you're an idiot!" *slow clap*.
Join the queue of trolls or speak with a little respect, those are your options.
***** try harder, not triggered yet xD
This is exactly why we don't have a politician as our head of state....
I'm all for getting rid of nuclear weapons. If the rest of the world would join us on that, but not just the UK.
So what that he does not sing the anthem , so what if he does not want to bow down to the queen . What we need is someone who is devoted to the people of this nation and not primitive cultural customs....
Well done Jeremy. It's great to see someone with such integrity in politics. You stick to your principles. Well done sir!
I thought this, for about 3 days. But then yesterday he comes out and says he will support EU membership regardless of changes Cameron can negotiate. This is completely against not only what he believes but also his responsibility as opposition leader of scrutinising the negotiations and holding him to account.
He won't even be labour leader in 18 months anyway.
+Tim Balders He's a democratic leader, not a dictator. He won't be whipping people like New Labour and the Conservatives. Don't assume that democracy won't work, they will resepect his mandate and once it is set up, policy proposals will be bottom up, not top down, and the members will have more influence. Remember the Blairites have to be given a chance to learn the new kind of democratic politics. Yes there are some extreme Blairites that will cause trouble, but not all of them. Give the whole party a chance.
JamesTrevitt I have little interest, so me offering a chance to them bears no relevance. As an outsider to Labour I merely look on and cast an opinion. I doubt he will last, not just because of infighting but because he is unelectable.
My concern is getting out of the EU so I was keen to see what a Euroskeptic would do as leader of Labour. Alas he has already done a U turn on this and now is pro EU like the rest of them. Some principals huh?!
Tim Balders Just because the Murdoch media, the Blairites and the Conservative party say someone is unelectable does not mean somebody is unelectable. That decision will be made in 2020, and you have no idea who the majority of the British public will vote for. He has in no way abandoned his principles (a principal is a school head), his concern is the TTP and workers rights, he is not anti-Europe at all. His concern was with Cameron taking the opportunity to remove workers rights and other things. Those are still his concerns. Anyway, if you wish to leave the EU so we can have less immigration I would say two things. 1. Theres stil UKIP, you can vote for them. 2. Germany has taken many more immigrants in the last 10 years and their GDP has grown much faster than ours.
JamesTrevitt I do vote for UKIP.
In my opinion he is unelectable knowing the electorate as I do. Just an opinion - I have no idea what the Murdoch press or BBC says on the matter nor do I care.
He has been anti EU for democratic reasons, like his mentors Benn and Foot. Now he is 100% for it.
Who are you trying to fool with the German immigrants/economy correlation?
Yes I always have trouble with the word principles - no doubt I will get it wrong again in the future.
This woman is horrible at her job.
Stay to your principles, Jeremy! Don't let these status-quo hacks distract you!
+El-Branden Brazil Principles like printing money to reduce poverty. Do you actually know his principles?
You really don't understand economics, printing money does not eradicate poverty but raises the price of food...good job helping the poor and what has the peace prize got anything to do with economics?
So your denying that printing more money increases the price of products?
+David Allan if country prints money compare to other currencies the total value stays the same so if you doubled the money printed you would half the value of your currency and therefore inflation but when there is 0% inflation we can afford to create a few billions provided we are very careful not to let that inflation start rising not by putting interest rates up by not printing too much
+David Allan your bare dumb bro IF YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT
David cameron is doing something called quantitative easing, you should look into that and also look into PFI's that are loans given to the NHS that have 700% interest.
These are the ways that the Tories hide borrowing money and they take everyone for fools.
why does the camera keep zooming in?? WHO CARES IF HE SINGS GOD SAVE THE QUEEN?!?! NO I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THAT MIGHT BE IMPORTANT TO SOME PEOPLE. Jesus christ BBC I dont think you deserve the TV license.
I stopped paying my TV licence years ago. just stop paying it and if they come round, tell them you don't have a TV and shut the door in their face. They don't come round again!
+Mercy Darko The BBC regularly promotes royalty.
Look I'm not a right wing nutter who wants to close our borders and lower benefits but not singing the national anthem shows a lack of national pride which in my opinion is one of the most important things a leader should have otherwise you show that you don't want to lead this country (IN MY OPINION)
+Captainwilts It's not a very "National" song though. It's all about the Queen.
+Captainwilts ...hmm, does Wayne Rooney sings the national anthem?
this guy cannot be prime minister... period
long live the queen!!, long live the UK
To try and say that he showed respect while not singing the national anthem is hypocrisy of the first order. He showed absolutely no respect by standing there with his mouth firmly shut showing nothing but defiance. And as for kneeling before the queen "he will have to think about it" and "perhaps this is something that needs to change" shows that he is still the same immature and irresponsible person he has been for the last 30 years whose main claim to fame is voting 500 times against his own party!!! Enough said!!!
He said he wants to remove the cap on benefits when It encourages people to be lazy, I work really hard for my money and It makes me so mad that there are people out there who get more each month from having kids and sitting on their backside then I do for working 40 hour week
this is what Labour did all those years back they gave money away like it was nothing and we got into debt because of them having a cap encourages people to say I need money let's get a job
The shameful trivialising media ... they don't know how to handle a genuine human being.
Lol. This is as bad as US media. Not Fox, but like CNN. They act so confused. Fricken Corporatists!
This zoom in is atrocious. She treats him as if he were a child.
We're all sick of this here, too!
Good luck, UK.
so, from his own lips " we will not leave Europe" but when asked in the 2019 election he would not say one way or the other, the great leader !!
As a Bennite, he was passionately opposed to the EU. Brexit couldn't have happened without him. He suppressed all opposition to it and pushed it over the line with all the determination of a dung beetle.
This man deserves the scrutiny he is under. Hes put himself in the spotlight and he has to defend his unusual and rebellious record. All those saying they are asking the wrong questions, there would be no such thing as a wrong question if he were a good politician.
If a tick on a ballot paper is democracy, then i recieve better 'democracy' from my ISP when they ask for a quick questionaire from me on their performance. Which takes 10mins not 4 years. Democracy, as we would like it, doesnt even exist yet.
+burtlangoustine1 Haha oh Corbyn, its painful how annoying and pointless todays media are! Such ludicrous hardballing on questions of little significance from the scottish reporter (judas)
Yeah whatever BBC, we get it, you don't like Jeremy Corbyn. You got you're man, well done, har har.
please don't tell me the BBC are right-wing please
@@tomkeating5178 Well they mostly favour neoliberal views (right wing) and are primarily influenced by whichever government is in power as that is what funds them.
Imagine this guy representing the United Kingdom on the world stage...
i wouldnt be so diplomatic like that. id be talking my mouth off at almost every point.
The journalist came across as very radical (monarchist, trying to force the view on others) and incompetent (asking vaguely important questions)
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!!
@@mrmensa1096 yeah abit like labour with the Muslim grooming gangs
The general popular opinion is that it is important for someone in the position of leader of the opposition to demonstrate that he honours the occasion and those who are being celebrated in it. Part of that is to show respect to those who sacrificed their lives to achieve the freedoms we enjoy today. He may agree or disagree with the idea of the Monarchy, but as long as the whole country shows that their preference is for the Monarchy, he has an obligation to show that he respects the will of the majority of the people and honour the occasion by singing the national anthem. If he disagrees with that he should be honest enough not to take part in the ceremony. He is not singing the national anthem for the Queen but for majority of the general public who want and respect the monarchy. If he thinks that is dishonest of him he should not seek high office in politics because with the high office come obligations to bow to the will of the people. Saying that 250,000 voted for him and that gives him a huge mandate is ridiculous. A quarter of a million people is less than a quarter of one percent of the whole population. Hardly a mandate!!!
And as far as kneeling to the Queen is concerned he is not kneeling to the Queen but to the institution of the Monarchy. If he is not prepared to do that he can refuse the office offered to him. For as long as the Monarchy exists because that is what the people want he has to conform to the various conventions whether he likes it or not. If he is not prepared to do that he should have remained an ordinary MP and not become leader of his party
he should just say no I won't kneel in front of the queen.
"We have achieved majority female shadow cabinet"
Thats great Jeremy, so you support sexism? You support putting people in positions purely because of their gender rather than their ability to do the job?
Like that finally a leader discussing wealth inequalities who also will get the 10 or so big companies to pay the £70 billion owed in tax that remains unpaid while the figure continues to rise.
id rather vote for ian huntley at least he hasnt got a beard.
haha.. wtf, journalism.. bbc..zooming in at certain points.. really digging for an answer on a hypothetical question
Who was the interviewer?
Thanks! I'll google her.
wau..this reporter is on a hunt for a spectacularity's that can be used against/discredit this man using his own strong believes and personal stands which are quite fair and a way towards a more social democracy (what a jawb she's got :D )
he's brilliant, she's irritating, really irritating interviewer deperately trying to make splits where there blatantly are none, BBC impartiality in question here, poor strategy with a nasty agenda BBC, good strategy with good agenda Corbyn
yeah.. the BBC might aswell be fox news now..
It's literally trivia. Hyperthetical nonsense. Ridiculous and disrespectful bullying. its more an interrogation than an interview.
weak.
If the BBC and the Sun doesn't like him then I do!
This interview is dreadful. Nothing meaningful was asked...
But of course, how could I forget??
How are your friends from Hamas?
fabian society eh.. what a surprise
Would have preferred frank field
Before the referendum, he was against Brexit. After Brexit, he had a change of heart, so heartfelt he put it in the Labour manifesto. Now the election is over, he is not going to support Brexit. Congratulations Jeremy, you have made Tony Blair look like an honest man.
He’s long been a brexiteer, he was under pressure to back remain
this guy is unpopular right? i get that from all the puns and funny cartoons about him in the papers and news. so how did he even get to the top of the labour party? if hes such a pleb?
Because not every one is fucking stupid like you
+jimmyboy141414 ooohhhh alright. what happened?
+phil green unfortunately old man you are the past and my generation is the future . My generation is sick of your generation moaning that you had it bad when you could buy a house for fucking 20 grand and banks were throwing money at you ! It's my generation that is fucked and we aren't standing for it any longer ! Evolve or get left behind old man
+phil green just pay your taxes
which slimy pond did he crawl out of
I actually agree with some of what this reporter says about Jeremy not being stronger in his leadership. He needs to boot out some of his party members or at the very least tell them to hush up so that he can get on with his job of standing up for the people of this country.
+no hassle Oh, and the Queen should kneel over her own grave. Then Jeremy should boot the old buzzard into it the plot, sell her crown and redistribute the money to the people of Britain.
+no hassle I totally agree, I don't understand why members of the Labour Party seem to be going out of their way to damage their own party. They seem to be basing their criticisms on personal opinion a lot of the time rather than on the concerns of the electorate. They get that we're supposed to live in a democracy right?
Bryony Brennan-Welsh Yeah, supposed to be living in a democracy. But it is just the illusion of one. The ruling elite control everything, and we the people are just disposable play things. The Monarchy and the snobs run this country.
+no hassle Nathan Rothschild said, "I care not which puppet sits on the throne of Britain. Whoever controls the money supply of Britain controls the British Empire and I control the money supply of Britain. "
Smear campaign at it finest
Next time the anthem is played I'll be singing
"God save Jeremy Corbyn
God save Je-re-my Corbyn
God save Corbyyyyyn"
(or do we get shot now for holding republican views?)
+waofy hopefully yes
+waofy But he is an Atheist. So it would be... The People save Jeremy Corbyn?
?
Mie Queue So it would just be Save Corbyn.
@@Tobberz he’s got no public ally declared religion but he keeps it private
Thank G0d that Corbyn is gone.
I think he could be our greatest hope for a republic.
One of my favourite interviews of Corbyn. Glad he's irrelevant again.
i think corbyn should be MP for BNP
+Ryan Barnes haha would be a landslide
😂
No Jeremy, don't ever sing the national anthem!
Jeremy my bins need emptying, chop chop
I have massive respect for this man. He says it as it is! I hope he can become PM one day!
God willingly he will be one day!
Lol he didn't 🤣
9:50 IT IS NOT AN INTERESTING QUESTION! IT IS NOT.
putting that aside: is he really risking so much by telling the truth? 'I will kneel if that's a requirement for the job, but I do not think it is correct in a symbolic way and if it were up to me, I'd scrap it out.' although I'm Argentinian and the monarchic tradition is all but familiar to me, the answer I just wrote doesn't sound disrespectful or politically incorrect/dangerous. now is it?
Fascinating.
Yes he can
Regardless of wether or not you are for, or against the monarch, it's blatant disrespect to not sing the national anthem at a memorial event, he states he's there to show respect. Well singing the anthem is part of showing respect.
BBC has gone down the drain without any shame.
Wow, this interviewer is so terrible.
The interviewer is appalling. The questions are rubbish and irelevant. Well done JC for tolerating her garbage so gracefully and patiently. Her performance to attempt to discredit or catch you out was an epic fail. You are an honest principled man of integrity which is why you should be our next PM I hope. Thankyou I wish you well.
i watched P.M.Q.T. on the wab,and was surprised by the looks on tory party members faces ,shame ,guilt even a look of fear at what might be in the offing for them ,cameron answered the question as he would normaly ,and rtrue you can not have social effort without a strong economy but why cripple the poor,i do not see austerity at the top.hit those who have it not the people who dont
I... dislike the reporter.
I don't Trust this guy even his labour team your a sad guy
if he doesnt dictate to his own team we can be sure that he wont dictate the country.
Why is the BBC permitting this journalist to pursue attack journalism?
I am English STILL HAVE MY PASSPORT BUT i lve in FRANCE . can I still vote in GB I would be a fervant CORBYN supporter?
God! What STUPID QUESTIONS!! ~ a) This Man is Far Too Intelligent to Waste His Valuable Time and Brain on such Hogwash! And b) As the Corporations Own Most of the Media, and Jeremy wants the Corporations to Pay their Fair Share of Taxes, they will say Whatever, in an attempt to soil His Character!! ~ Fortunately, Jeremy is a Centred, Caring, Non Egotistical Man, with a Decent Brain, who does NOT rise to such Horseplay, and sees right through it!!
There are so many things I would criticise Corbyn for; thinking of one immediately is not easy.
British people need to watch The New Adventure of Robbin Hood! :p
Joining the Privy Council, (which, incidentally was the old name for a Toilet!), and Kneeling before the Queen, because the Interviewer said that's it an important Symbol for People who believe in it, is AVOIDING MAJOR ISSUES like, a More Important Matter, involving the Underprivileged being able to EAT PROPERLY, and HEAT THEIR HOMES ADEQUATELY!! Q: Are These Interviewers Mindless Heartless Aliens from Another Planet?!! Don't They SEE What's Going On with the Common People?!!
The interviewer is very annoying.
it is a true shame that the BBC has reached this low level . once it was the example of professional journalism nowadays it is a huge disappointment
This is shameful journalism. She's not even doing a good job of tabloid journalism. She's showing you the process of her trying to put spin on his answers... that defeats the whole point of putting spin on answers. Weird that I'm paying for that.
The monarchy isn't necessary anymore, it has to go
+Totalwarking7 yes it is :P the royal family do a lot as it goes....
Most British people love them though
You are right, it has to go.
No they don't! They pass laws that the government spends months if not years debating, that's it, and they get to be treated like Gods for that. All the Queen does is sign her signature on a bill of rights! That's a good reason for their family to not pay tax and live in luxury all their lives for free...
+Teresa Ford pay what taxes are you crazy...? They cost us five times more money than they create just in the security that they need! Did you know that go and check that and come back and say what you just said 😊
Honestly the royal family encourage segregation and poverty because they sit with loads more money than the poor people who give them money and why do we because we are forced to
Referendum do we want the monarchy please!
Is this what passes for journalism these days? he BBC is a joke.
He is a very well practiced liar😂
What a pathetic line of questions from this BBC journalist
Quess who is conducting this interview with JC ? The poisoned spider !
cometh the day, cometh the man.
Cannot stand the guy.
Haha, Corbyn skirting around certain questions... so he's just like all the other politicians!
PAPA LIKELY TO PROMO JEREMY As UK Primer Minister
Gosh Laura Kuenssberg was awful!
VOTE UKIP!!!!
the unprofessional interviewer can bow down to my royal schloooooooooooong !!!!!!
Arrogant interviewer
Dogshit question
You might be interested in the IMPORTANT aspects of the politicians that NOBODY ever mentions, on my video JEREMY CORBYN REVEALED by Jesse Blenn. There I compare him to Brown and Blair. I am for Jeremy.
Nice to have Jeremy Corbyn backing a no vote for the European referendum, I think that's one of the few things I can agree with him on.
Interested to know if you still feel that way given how they’ve behaved of late? A lot of pro Eu people are back tracking, given how most of Europe is still largely unvaccinated.
Why does the BBC try to demonise him because he would be willing to sing "God save the queen" for £62 million when he does not care about the Royal family? I would do the exact same thing! Whatever the Royal family does has no impact on our lives but whatever happens in politics does!
+Rayrulez96 The £62 million isn't true. It's something the Sun made up. And there will be a lot of that from Murdoch over the next 4 years.
+JamesTrevitt I can understand that.
Jeremy Corbyn is so direct and yet incredibly patient. This man is a true human! The reporter just sounds like a plastic marionette representing the likes of Lorraine Kelly, Edith Bowman and Natasha Kaplinsky very badly. No wonder the BBC have recently admitted being pro-Conservative!!
BBC imitating Fox News
disgusting interview techniques from bbc
You can remove "hate the monarchy" from the list, you don't have to be a leftist to want to get rid of your overlords.

Jeremy Corbyn accused of thinking instead of bowing to public opinion!
more left than the libs
Ah Kim Il jun Corbyn
Why on earth should he kneel before anyone?
Because he is expected to bow in the presence of the monarch of the country he is trying to become prime minister of. It's simply tradition
