Growing Cucumbers - gardening tips

Cucumber season is one of my favorites. Harvesting them everyday is super satisfying. Here’s some tips to help you get the most out of your cukes this season.

How do you ensure ur plant pushes out female flowers? Cause mine only pushed male flowers so far....

I found the trick to produce more females. So remove some of the males but keep a few to attract the bees. And also prune your cucumber plants for more air flow! I’ve done this and myself and oh my I have a ton of females forming now within the next couple of week they should flower💯

It is made from a single cattle panel I got at Tractor Supply, 2 T-posts and some zip ties

I have sexually aided cucumbers before. Not proud of it but someone had to do it.

Sometimes you need to put your scrap foods into the garden bed, so the insects have something else to eat😊

You can try the cucumber pony H. It's dose not produce big cucumbers... but it has good resistance against diseases and fungi

​@@ralsharp6013That's a horrible idea. It doesn't keep your cucumbers from attack it actually draws in even more pests and a bigger variety and they will devour the cucumbers. Especially the raccoons, chipmunks, squirrels and other critters that get attracted to the food scraps
