Only concert I ever saw that matched Sptingsteen and E Street's energy was the Jukes in the 80's. The brought the house down.

Johnny has a much better voice than Bruce Springsteen. Without the E street band Bruce wouldn’t be the “Boss”
won't challenge someone on who has the better voice, to each is own. but without E street band comment, come on man, does song writing have anything to do with a musicians greatness? He also wrote the music and I'm sure would have found other musicians

The songs Southside sings better are mostly *written by* Bruce and by Miami Steve.

saint jack Yes! Southside and the Jukes were the second best band to come out of Jersey. Been appreciating them since their first album.
