    1 tbsp dark soy sauce

    ¼ tsp baking soda
    700g Chinese cabbage
    1 tsp grated ginger
    4 garlic cloves
    ½ tsp salt
    1 tbsp oyster sauce
    4 tbsp vegetable oil

      The use of baking soda in Chinese cooking is akin to restaurants who use MSG in their cooking. It is not true Chinese restaurant style. Cheap greasy spoon type restaurants yes, but not star ranked kitchens. We use ice cold soda water in the meat and put it back into the fridge for a few hours instead of baking soda and leaving it out on the counter. Too much alkaline in baking soda and it should never be used or advertised as a, 'restaurant style' method. Cheap greasy spoon style but not real Chinese cooking.

    But the sofa gives a weird after taste... Therefor I never order meat dishes except chicken
