Installation is very simple. No templates to line up correctly. Just remove the body clip from the inside door panel. Drill from the inside through the steel frame and outside panel. Insert the bolt and thread it onto the mirror base. I put a video out 4 years ago on how to use this method to mount mirrors back when there were no mirrors designed to be used this way. Since then I have created a mirror kit with the correct bolts included. I went with black stainless steel.
