- Time for the next lot of modifications to the BMW 1 Series. Only small but cheap mods this time. But i didn't like one of them.
What next? Xenon Headlights or Msport Bumpers?

It is quite rare to see content like this where you not only show your mistakes, but you are not afraid to admit that you made one. This makes you so much more relatable than the "big" car RUclipsrs. Their videos sometimes show them in a false light where no mistakes happen, everything works, nothing breaks, everything goes well and for the very first time etc... Like you, I have done so many mods to my bikes/cars that at first looked great but after looking at them I thought, yeah, not for me, let's change it back.
Why didnt you use vinyl wrap for the light tints? The lights actually looked perfect first time round imho.
I have a 2010 BMW 120i and I love these videos! Looking forward to the bumper vid.

Light smoke vinyl is the best way to tint a lamp properly, either that or the old skool way use a pair of dark tights stretched over the lens
Never really understood wiper deletes myself, especially when you can't see out of the back window because of rain.
They just look "cool"

Get the 1M front bumper, they look sick on the hatchback! Was thinking of getting one myself but instead I parted with a front splitter. E87 Le-Mans Blue 118d 205bhp.

When you were happy with the darkness of the backlight smoke I think you shoulc have clear coated them glossy instead of trying to polish directly on that thin paint film.
Do a light coat of the black and and a clear gloss on top no sanding or polishing required, just make sure the black tint is compatible with the clear
I rate lights, got a similar 1 series with halogens as well
just needs a slight tint on em

check out OEM blacklines, they look abit aggressive, newer darker and oem so won't look chavvy, love the channel and mods so far :)
Such a school boy mod error. As soon as mention you was gonna paint the lights. I just knew this was gonna bad choice mod. Catching up on your videos now.
25mm one from Halfords doesn’t fit properly and you can see through where that cut out is.

My suggestion is to use a lamp film instead of paint. Removable and comes in many shades of tint.

If u get bright led bulbs it is, but make sure other drivers can see u because that got me in serious trouble a few years ago 👍🤙
You can screw up the radio antenna and it will Continue work and looks much sportier

I done exactly the same on my Astra, tinted just the orange indicator, didn’t like it. Tinted the full light, had them one for about 3 days and removed the tint as I didn’t like how it looked.
Always use tint film for lights 😂😂 quicker easier and simple.

Can the Carly app switch on cruise control? I know I need a new squib with cruise control stalk.. but garage down the road want 80 to activate it! Love the headlights too... link?
Why would you want to remove your rear wiper and make it look cheaper and lower spec than it is?

why didn't you give them a few coats of clear to get the glossy.

Although it was probably a piss take if he ever hits something/someone while reversing it's the perfect reason for insurance not to pay out ...you have to remember they are fucking con artists and will use anything they can to not pay you

Just to confirm pal , I'm a specialist is window tinting and light car mods , when using tinting spray for lights always warm the can up and to get the shine you should use heat gun , hope this helps next time around pal , keep up the good video very entertaining, well done

BLIBIB x Beast T cut is polish. Clean them up basically.
I ask you please don't go for the M spoiler, looks horrible. Instead you should go for AC Schnitzer Spoiler look, I will do it soon also on my 116i, just changed to 18" look Alpina Wheels and that's the next step. The difference is massive and looks much more clean trust me !

I don't understand what reason there is to remove the rear glass wiper, then what was the point of painting the rear light clusters. These things are done by kids who have nothing to do or to get noticed by their schoolmates!!!!

I wouldn't Smoke the rearlights imo, I've got a stealth e81 and sometimes you need colour which the rear lights give. And would be awesome if you'd get maybe halo headlights!
When i did spry tint it it did looks were good on my E87 😂👍

Get the M-Performance bumper, not the one from the m-paket. It looks way better than the m-paket or some cheap ebay-1M-bumpers. You also does not need new grills or a new front-beam.

Hey, great Video. Yeah, sometimes it will be good, sometimes it goes wrong, that's life. Here you can see my E81 with Backline Rearlights (so you know what I mean, i don't know the English word, sorry for that) and the silver plastic at the front is painted black. Sorry for my English.

By the way, i think it's easier to do the Msport Bumpers then the Xenon Headlights. And you don't need to paint the plastic at the front of the car. Another cheap mod is to change the antenna into a smaller one. Witch Engine is in your BMW?
Got the 116i in grey, really wanting to get a nice pair of alloys, but what are people’s thoughts on blacked out alloys on a grey car? It’s a very light grey
