    Great Video, I didn’t need to replace my radiator but needed to know how to remove fan shroud to replace a broken passenger side fan blade and this video made it easy peasy.

    Awesome video. Just did my radiator based on your tips. I wouldn't have figured out the clips on the transmission cooler lines, or how to get the ac condenser to detach from the bottom of the radiator. Thanks!

    Have the exact issue on my '09 G8 GT. Was able to double hose clamp it and used a long nylon tie wrap around the fill neck and the hose clamp screw housing. Not the prettiest thing but that sucka is still holding! $3 repair.😊

    Thanks for the tutorial. The tabs on the fan housing where the transmission hoses snap in broke on mine. Had to use zip ties to attach it to the fan

      Mine was missing the top radiator mount bushings. It is a discontinued part. Guess I will be on the lookout for salvage yard with a G8 and try them

    Do you know if these have a bleeder valve for the cooling system or is just adding coolant with the engine running sufficient to get all the air out?

    • @kalani1987
      @kalani1987 Год назад +3

      No bleeder valve. Use a spill proof funnel to bleed the air out

      As previously mentioned, these do not have a bleeder. Just fill it to capacity, let it idle till warmed up with the heat control set to hot. Then refill. That will get most of the air out. But, check it again after driving it a few miles.

    Did you have to add transmission fluid too?

    Did your radiator have o rings on the transmission coolant lines? I changed my radiator and after connecting the transmission coolant lines to the new radiator it started leaking trans fluid.

      They do not have o-rings on the lines themselves. The fittings do have o-rings inside on the ones I’ve looked in though.
