Hello Friends & Subscribers! I wanted to check in and offer a quick channel update and also keep you guys in the loop about some classes I will be teaching in May at the Old School Survival Boot Camp which will be held at the Vinton County Fairgrounds in McAurthur, Ohio on May 17th through the 19th 2024. We have spent quite a few nights in the same camps together. You never know what the future hold I guess...

So will those classes be daily or certain ones on certain days? I'd definitely be interested in the bushcraft knife safety etc class
They will be scheduled on certain days but I apologize I am not certain yet which days what class will be held. I don't imagine you will have a hard time grabbing a spot in that particular class however. I look forward to seeing you there!
A class??? People pay to learn how to start a fire and set up a tarp? Who would have thunk?
People get a great deal out of hands on learning from folks who do this stuff daily. This is a huge event with tons of instructor who travel from all across the country to share their experience. I know I have to travel 9 hours myself to get there and teach. I also fund the expenses along the way. I love to share with like-minded folks which is why I take days away from my business and family to share.
@@blackhatbushcraft I just live the life. Couldn't imagine paying someone to teach me how to live! Nice gig! For me, it's just a normal lifestyle. I figure if you are an adult and have to pay somebody to teach you how to go camping or basic survivors skills, you are probably screwed in a real situation. There's a market in these upper class white people to get them to pay for all kinds of workshops. They love it!
Lots of people weren't raised near any forest, never had access, never taught any skills like that. I learned all this in Boy Scouts 50 years ago but that isn't common anymore. My nemesis would be navigating a CITY, like New York or something. 🤣🤣🤣 I'd need a class!
