ATX, Entertainment Weekly, and Hulu present a special reunion celebrating 20 years since the premiere of the college-angst classic Felicity, from creators JJ Abrams and Matt Reeves. looking back, this was such a thoughtful and mature show for tweens.. the conversations, the storylines, the relationships, the melodramas.. a show like this wouldn't work in the same way today.. very meaningful show.. so glad I came of age in the 90s..

Agreed. The long scenes helped set the pace for a deep show.
What tweens were watching Felicity? How would a 12 year of relate to that show?
@@darnellmajor9016 Well, first, people today would be so caught up on labels they wouldn't pay attention to the fact that this is just a fun show with some good lessons. For example, they would label Felicity a stalker, Noel a "nice guy" and Ben a chad. Then they would protest the show for half of the storylines. For example, the girl sleeping with her professor and all that. There would be no room for a show like this today because social media would rip it apart. They don't make shows like this anymore that have deep, complex characters BECAUSE the world judges them and hates them. Instead, people prefer shallow, vapid characters that are empty today. Just look at every modern show...but especially teen shows.
I just looooove Felicity sooo much!!! It holds a special place in my heart!!! ❤
It is everything!!!! Funny, witty, romantic, quirky, touching, sweet, incredible acting, unique and distinct characters AND relatable theme! PHENOMENAL!!! Some scenes still make me tear up, almost like watching it for the first time. It just hits different than any other tv drama series I've watched!!!
I HOPE JJ ABRAMS, MATT REEVES and all the cast members gets together for an actual reunion tv series of some sort like the lives of the characters 20 years later. I'm sure they can come up with amazing scripts :))) ❤❤❤❤ it would be amazing!!!!
TERRIBLE camera angles!!! No tight close ups of the three stars even when they're talking; instead we see a wide angle shot of the whole cast or the other side of the stage with the supporting cast looking bored and doing nothing. Exasperating! I LOVE this show and was so looking forward to seeing Keri and the two Scotts speak, since I couldn't be in TX. Hey ATX, do a better job with camera positions and don't leave fans feeling disappointed. ☹️

Agreed!!! I thought the camera man was drunk and fell asleep! It was the first time I ever realized that being a cameraman must really suck when you're filming something that you don't think anyone is going to see on a project you really don't care about. Obviously I have a lot of time to think while I was tuning out Greg and figuring out what happened to the cameraman.

I still watch this show on repeat to this day! I loved the show then and even more so now. I was the same age as Felicity and could kind of relate to her growing into her own as she was becoming an adult. I love this cast forever and this show will always be one of my TOP favorites!

I was a bit disappointed they just dropped the "recording tapes for Sally" at some point. I thought we were going to see her.
Didn't we see a quick picture or something? I haven't watched in a long time, but I thought we did. Although, I recognized her voice pretty early on as Janeane Garofalo and saw it on the credits at some point 🤷♀️ but I still have the memory for some reason that she was revealed.
Amy Jo Johnson is ageless and timeless. Also Keri :)

They need a much better interviewer. Did she even prepare her questions in advance? Half of the time she was trying to come up with the wording of the questions clearly. Argh!
I loved the time travel episodes. They were funny and unique. Sean and Meghan's relationship was the best thing about that show and brought much needed comedy to the later seasons.
The time travel epsidoes MADE the show. Everyone always wondered what if she picked Noel? We got to explore that, in a way. It made the show whole and complete and so satisfying. We don't get to go back and pick different in real life.
Great actors and scripts made Felicity a strong series. Twenty years later,
would make a sequel interesting for the characters.
Favorite show ever!!! I've watch Felicity so many times, never get tired of it. I still LOL and cry with Felicity every time meany Ben brakes her heart... the thought of the whole cast doing a 20 year reunion show... Aaaaaaahhhh... that would be magical!!!
I don't know how many times I have rewatched it at this point, but it keeps getting better the older I get. I see new things in the show every time.

Can't help but notice that there are barely any closeups of Speedy/Keri/Scott?? Even when they're the ones answering questions the camera is trained on the supporting cast. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but what's going on?
Zoom in Video Controls.
Love the close ups WITHOUT the audiences big heads blocking the cast. Overall the camera didn’t zoom on when cast was speaking often enough. We can’t see the cast to the left of Greg. The camera view is too often from the back row of the theater. Mic volume was too low on Elena and too loud on Sean/Greg Didn’t need repeated same shots of the audience members
Yeah the camera person Kind of ruined it for me. Love the show and cast so much.

I would argue that Felicity and ALIAS was J.J. Abrams' best show. Both. Amazing.
Just a Bruin They did the same thing to Dawsons Creek. Its a damned shame. The music in the original episodes creates so much of the mood and environment
They made a lot of changes musically in the second season that you could tell was network driven to make it more commercial, but it definitely ruined the show's vibe and made it slightly less magical for me.

I can’t help to feel a little frustrated that Scott Foley didn’t remember Noel died in the what if. Also.... that Felicity chose Ben before knowing he died. 😂😂😂 Sorry, I just rewatched and have everything fresh in my head
It’s probably he wasn’t in those episodes. They never even taped him die. He went from being on the phone to being in a wedding lol

@Sunnyday Sunshine13 omg they ruined so many scenes getting rid of the original music on the Hulu replay. Especially the end of finale when changed to some random song instead of will you remember me.
Yep! That’s how I’m watching it right now. I didn’t watch it regularly when it came out back in the day. I was a Dawson’s Creek and 7th Heaven girl. I’ve only seen a few episodes of Felicity. My younger sister was more into it than me at that time.
But I’m glad I’m watching it from start to finish right now. I grew up watching Amy Jo Johnson in Power Rangers. So seeing that Halloween episode of Felicity in S1 kind of cracked me up about the pink ranger thing. But I also love her character in the show. She is not someone who says things to you, intentionally trying to be rude, unless if she feels she needs to. Her character is someone who drops what happens in other life experiences out of love and to get the person to see that other people experience things differently. She is also a very loyal friend to Felicity.
Bad camera angles/shots ... didnt focus on d person talking at the time. Frustrating ...

The crazy part is that they did have close up footage of the Big 3 - there's footage of the panel in this EW video that's on People Entertainment Network - and yet they didn't use it here. Very frustrating!

Thank you so much for posting this! This has been my favorite show for a long time! This is the only show I have ever wanted to meet all of the people in the cast of the show. I would have been so happy to be there with them. It would have been like a dream come true.
I was so in love with Scott back in the day and HATED Jennifer Garner for a few years for stealing my man... oh to be like that again 😂

The person who sang the Felicity theme song (Seasons 1 -2) was Judith Owen. She is married to The Simpsons' Harry Shearer. She had a song on the original run of Felicity on the S2 finale with "Message From Heaven." But yes the CD wrongly credits Amy Jo Johnson.
My favorite guy was Noe. It was a great show. It helped that they had all good looking guys on there too.

Oh god no! Felicity and Ben are crazy annoying. I despise these angsty/immature couples, with people who are clearly wrong for each other. But stay together. I was glad when he cheated on her after they intended medical school. The guy is a jerk, and being with him made Felicity into some kind of brainless bimbo. I hated it. Almost finish rewatching the finale season, and boy, I didn’t remember how awful and toxic this relationship was. It started out as a cute crush, but then it became borderline abusive. Which reminded me of that annoying Molly girl and her drug addict boyfriend. Well that’s exactly how Ben and Felicity feel after a while. They destroyed each other. Ben more than Felicity, with all his crap and violent tendencies. What were these writers thinking?!...
PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY ELENA'S DEATH WAS NOT FREAKED OUT OVER and why Felicity didn't mention going back in time to save Elena AND Noel?!

I read there were two scenes in the finale where Felicity tells Elena not to take the drive but they did not shoot them
In one of the time travel episodes, Felicity writes Elena a note telling her to be careful driving in the future. This note supposedly saves Elena from her car accident. That is why Elena appears in the final time travel episode. What is so great about this is that the series explains Felicity's time travel as a "dream." But the fact that Elena is alive means that Felicity really did travel in time. In order to see this letter writing scene, you have to have seen it on live tv. From what I heard, it is not on the DVD.

I met Felicity in my late teens. Thanks to the TV station called SBT here in my country (Brazil) that I was able to watch dubbed, but also to the internet where I access the series in the original language. This was my first North American series and I loved it so much. I made a Felicity Soundtrack video for fans a few years ago but after 1 year it got blocked. Some fan users were reposting the video on other channels. Perhaps wanting to benefit from monetization. My video was not monetized, I only did it because I wanted to share with fans the wonderful songs that have been a part of the Felicity and our lives.
You did a great service for fans. The music changed with the DVDs and then changed again (far worse, in my opinion) for the current streaming version. So glad you enjoyed the show, too!

Tinha bastante visualização, depois de 1 ano o youtube resolveu bloquear, nao recebia monetização, mas tinha gente copiando meu vídeo e buscando visualização, acho que por isso bloquearam. Tentei postar de novo, nao dava certo. Tirei o vídeo já que só eu vizualizava, mas to pensando em postar no Oitube, mas vou ter que criar la. Tenho musicas de algumas series que vc citou, talvez se der tb posto lá.

The cameraman is not very good. He showed WAY too much of the secondary characters in this and not enough close-ups of Noel, Felicity, and Ben.

I love this show so much! I just rewatched the series and was happy to see it still holds up to modern times! I was really excited to watch this reunion show, but I was disappointed with the filming and with the moderator. It would have been nice to have more camera focus on Felicity, Ben, and Noel and more poignant questions. I would have asked Kerri Russel if she would have chosen Ben or Noel!
Omg I think they should so bring this to theater and Gilmore Girls for a marathon of the entire series playing all day long
Whoever filmed this....BIG FAIL!!! never once zoomed in on Keri Russell or either Scott and kept the camera fixed on other cast members when they were talking even. What a disappointment.

I like to think that Ben Convington turned into Nick Marsh in Grey's Anatomy, because he's a transplant surgeon which was inspired by his dad getting a second chance at life after a liver transplant.

This became the Greg/Sean show. Plus the interviewer was too much of a fan girl and some of the questions just didn't work. What a shame.

The moderator and her questions were terrible. Camera wasn't on the main 3 characters when they answered. This reunion could have been more. Left me feeling let down, similar to how the series ended. Lol

One thing that bothers me about the series today is, not only has the original music been replaced, but it is nothing short of impossible to even research what the original tracs were. Like, WHY is that such secret information? I understand about the expiration of the use permission, but WHY is it so impossible to even find out what the original songs were?

I love being able to watch this... but they didn't have a shot (except one brief moment) of the actors on the left side of the stage! Only on the whole stage and those on the right! I just wish I could have seen the main characters more close up...

this was truly the worst thing I've ever seen. Who was that camera person? How does the camera not even look at the person speaking? the host/interviewer was just as bad. Your actors haven't played those characters in 20 years; you should have prepared them the big questions. So many good questions could have been asked and answered. Also, Scott Speedman looked so bored with his twitching and stretching. Thank god Mandy Foreman, Greg Grunberg, Scott Foley and Rob Benedict saved the otherwise impossible, nearly 90 minutes of awkward moments.

Whoever was directing the camera man for this documentary must have fallen asleep during parts of it. Suggestion: Try keeping the camera on the individual who is speaking, please!

The cameraman had one job and failed. What a wasted opportunity. I'm sure there's thousands of people that could have done better with their iPhone.
I had forgotten why I stopped watching Fecility after the second season until I recently watched the show on Hulu. I hated Fecility and Ben and I loved Noel. Lol!! Noel was so wonderful and my type of guy. Ben was so immature and indecisive. And Fecility keep running after his dumbass. Leaving Noel heartbroken over and over again. I could barely get through the fourth season. Afterwards, I said to myself, no wonder I stopped watching this damn show. I was so over Fecility and Ben. Without a question, I would have picked Noel.
Nicole Edwards I would have totally picked Noel too. He was so in love with Felicity.
Wonderful guys don't sleep with their friend's girlfriend even if he did have deep feelings for her.
So Noel turn out to be just like Ben could be so he isn't any better.

I just recently finished Felicity in Hulu and I think they made a inconsistency in the last episode, wasn’t Elena supposed to have died?

even with the going back in time storyline, it still didn't work out.. I just watched it again and it wasn't flushed out well enough.. it's like she just reappeared..
The whole thing travel time was really weird to be honest. But I still think this show as a whole was great
@@sillythingsme186 I agree.. seemed as if they didn't quite know how to end the show.. ending with graduation would've been fine with me bc it got a bit wonky after that.. but I stuck with it bc I enjoyed the show and cast so much..
In the future, Elena dies in a car accident. However, when Felicity returns to the past (when Elena was still alive), she wrote Elena a letter telling her to be careful driving. This action made Elena more careful and she avoided the fatal accident in the previous timeline. The problem is, the editors cut the letter writing scene in all future syndicated shows (and even the DVD) so it makes Elena's reappearance confusing. I saw the original series on TV and I clearly remember Felicity writing that letter.
