Great to hear the interview, i was young at the time but old enough to know there was a strong rivalry between Ardagh and Newcastle West. I never knew why, the interview explains all. I remember walking up the street in Ardagh after a match that Ardagh lost, it was a Sunday evening and it was very quiet. There was a magpie on the door of Sean Danahers pub. Another game i was at in Newcastle with Kit toss.. John Mullins mother, it got fairly rough just outside the dressing rooms after the match a few fist were thrown and hurleys were flying. Appreciate the cameraman taking the time to record Big Jim Kelly and Tommy Danaher.
