I have been a dividend focused investor for a long time. This does not mean I don't own growth stocks, I do. A well rounded portfolio should be a mixture of both categories. One way to minimize the anxiety out of stock market investing, is to make sure you keep a large cash cushion. I invest in the market, but never put all my money in market.
I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
The issue is most people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt, no offense. In general, Financial Consultants are ideal reps for investing jobs, and at firsthand encounter, since Jan.2020, amidst covid outbreak, my portfolio has yielded massively in ROI, summing up to 7-figures as of today.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advlsors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfollo allocation
I've been working with ‘’Rachel Sarah Parrish” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, Look her up.
Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.
Government policy has thrown the future under the bus for decades. The day of judgment is near. I predict an 80% drop in the stock market. Investors will abandon stocks in favor of real estate. There will be no money in banks... You must devise a strategy for survival.
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to over $750k.
As a new investor it's always great to hear from a person who has gone through all the difficult times and come ahead of it. What are some strategies i can employ to be successful?
There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Rebecca Nassar Dunne” and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.
@@HudsonEthan-00 The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?
It seems certain stocks are undervalued, flying under the radar despite their potential. You can't help but wonder when the market will recognize their true worth. How can I invest $600K wisely to ensure our future security?
It's frustrating when market inefficiencies persist, particularly with undervalued stocks. Consider consulting an advisor for smarter investing decisions.

80% stocks 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p 500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate a large $5m stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk of inflation.
I believe that diversifying your investments is the safest way to handle it. One way to lessen the effects of a market crisis is to distribute investments over a variety of asset classes, such as international equities, bonds, and real estate. It's critical to look for expert advice.
In fact, despite having no experience or prior knowledge when I began investing in 2018, by the end of 2019 I had made a profit of over $750k. I had merely been adhering to the advice that my financial counselor had given me. This demonstrates that all you really need is an expert to assist you; you don't even need to be a great investor or put in a lot of work.
I've been in the red for the past couple months, lost 12k last week alone, Indubitably I've got good companies but profit is still stalling, how did you go around finding an investment-advisor, I wouldn't mind looking yours up.

I want to diversify my portfolio across different stocks and sectors to minimize risk. I’ve heard of people accruing over $550k during recessions, how do I achieve this?
Remember that investing in the stock market carries risks, and it’s important to do your own research and consult with a financial advisor before making any investment decisions.
I was able to diversify my $550K portfolio across different markets with the help of an investment advisor, and in just a few months, I was able to generate over $950K in net profit from high dividend paying stocks, ETFs, and bonds.

Several of the biggest market experts have been voicing their opinions on exactly how awful they think the next downturn would be, and how far equities may have to go, as recession draws closer and inflation continues well above the Fed's 2% objective. I'm trying to build a portfolio of at least $850k by the time I'm 60, therefore I need suggestions on what investments to make.
There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started my business. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?
Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience. If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert

Think VOO, QQQ and SCHD as different types of cars. QQQ (or any growth based ETF) is like a truck where it has high top speed, but poor acceleration. When things are going good, growth ETFs are always going to grow the most. When a market crash hits, however, it will coming to a grinding halt and it takes forever to get rolling again. These are great for young people who just entered the workforce and can afford their retirement accounts to take a big hit during a recession. Dividend ETFs like SCHD are the opposite: they have great acceleration, but won't top out as much. As you get older you'd want to shift to these to preserve your wealth. VOO/VTI is like a Honda Civic: it's not the fastest and flashiest, but it's consistent and reliable.

It's best to seek an advisor right now, unless you're canny yourself. As a business owner in both the service industry and eBay reseller of all product categories, I can tell you we’re in a deep recession and everyone is running out of money.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day invst decisions being guided by a invst-advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a invst-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over $900K.

Or you could do Qqq as your "growth" Schd as your "bond" When qqq goes down invest more into it When qqq is out growing schd invest into schd and at end of year equal them back out or any ratio you want That way qqq is helping grow schd and schd is growing better than a typical bond and also helping buy more qqq as it drops and qqq is helping grow schd when needed.
A Friend told me Saving at least 15% of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably. is this a good way to potentially grow my retirement savings to about $3M over time?
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

Impressive, i’ll most definitely check her out. I buy the idea of employing the services of a Financial Advisor because finding that balance between saving and living requires counsel.
Not sure how much you make or how your 401k is invested. But I know my 401k does not have a lot of options in regards to investments. I would check with someone to make sure your 401k is actually growing as it should in this current market. I know the target funds at my job suck, so I opt out and invested in something else. Rule of thumb is to only invest up to your company match in a 401k. Unless your seeking to lower your taxable income at the end of the year or at a good balance. Second, if your within the income level open up your own IRA account. A self manage IRA account has better investment options such as QQQ, VTI, VOO, SPY etc. Contribute and max it out. Any spillage can easily be invested into regular ETF stocks throughout the year in your brokerage account. Once your ready to retire you have 2 retirement accounts and an investment portfolio of ETF stock. Investing isn't hard or complex, place your eggs into the baskets and let it ride.
I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my portfolio for retirement of about $750k. I want to know: Do I keep contributing to my portfolio in these unstable markets, or do I look into alternative sectors?

Just because they are great opportunities in the stock market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I’ll advise you to seek the help of a professional.
You’re right! My portfolio is well diversified across multiple markets with the aid and guidance of a financial advisor, John Desmond Heppolette. I have been able to generate over $520k in net profit across high dividends yield stocks, ETF and bonds in more than eight months.
Your fin advisor really seem to know this stuff. I found his online-page when I made a google search of his full names, read through his resume, educational background, qualifications and it was really impressive. I left him a note and booked a call session with him..
It’s unfortunate most people don’t have such information, I don’t really blame people who panic cos lack of information can be a big hurdle. I’ve been making more than $65k passively investing with John Desmond Heppolette, and I don’t have to do much work. It doesn’t matter if the market is crashing, I will always make good profit returns.
Amazing I know John Desmond Heppolette, glad I found this recommendation earlier on. I have made some pretty impressive gains, I closed last year with my investment portfolio at $430k. I love his insights and innovative approach to how his ETF’s are run so different from the stale methods of managers I’ve work with in the past.
Great video, I've been interested in investing ever since I came across articles of people making up to $150,000 and more in this period, thanks for the video but is it really possible for a retail investor to achieve this in months?
I've purchased numerous stocks in individual firms. Because there are so many stocks that will skyrocket in the long run, it is currently safe to buy in on ETF and ride it out. Due to fud, I sold out early, but then retraced my ways and re-invested $350,000 with a financial advisor who manages my account. I received an 82% return last year and will see where it goes this year.
This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

QQQ is great in technology booming periods, but is really bad in bearish periods. VOO/IVV are more consistent. S&P 500 for my 401k and IRA. SCHD is great for any period because it is 85% large cap value.
@mackenzie fventes Lol. I am one of them but I am not a YT pro not even close to that. Started trading with him last year and in all honesty, wish I had known about him earlier...I am more than 30K up in less than 5 months with him.
QQQ thrived with low interest rates, which are great for growth stocks. Now they'll have to borrow money at a higher rate so I don't expect that it will continue to overperform. But who knows?
Definitely you should invest for the long term and dollar cost average. I think a combination or blend of different ETF`s is the best way to go. Which ETF`s depends on your own personal situation.
I started investing because I liked getting money from stock dividends. My strategy is not just to rely on dividends but also to make extra money through investments. This way, I can live off dividends without selling stocks, and it might help my kids too. I've put more than $600K into dividend stocks over the years, and I'm still buying more, especially when prices drop.
Receiving guidance from a seasoned investor who has weathered crises and thrived is reassuring. While seeing your portfolio shift from gains to losses can be concerning, sticking to well-established companies and continuing to nurture your investments is key. Stay focused on your goals, and the potential for growth remains, even amid temporary market fluctuations.
Nice presentation. For future modeling, it is probably best to model 20-30 years of historical returns. 10 years is rather short. I do understand that for some of these funds, they don't have that much of a track record.
I have all three etfs. I am most comfortable with schd less downside and decent dividends.I will keep all till I retire at least. Great video for learning and earning purposes.
A year later QQQ has continued to outperform by a huge margin. Next is VOO. And then coming in a distant third is SCHD. I agree with everything you talk about, but the one thing I do different is I switch up what I buy when the market has a big movement down. The pandemic brought us two major market downturns to take advantage of -- this is the time to get aggressive and go with growth/tech. Cheers!
I consider the introduction of a Bitcoin ETF to be a revolutionary step in the financial markets. We are now approaching a bull run, I know i'll gain all i lost.
Cryptocurrency is booming, notably giants like BTC and ETH. Yet, the market's rollercoaster nature is testing even the hardiest investors. which is why we should look out for proper market analysis or alternatively seek guidance from certified market strategists
I agree. This is why I work with an investment advlsor, I currently have $630k in a well-diversified portfollo that has experienced exponential growth and is also well-matched for every season of the market. We are working on a 'more figures ballpark' goal this year.

What're your thoughts on a good ETF that you would hold to go along with QQQ in an IRA? I still have a long way to go. Don't mind risk. But is there an etf in here you like in addition to QQQ that covers different sectors?
@@theresagarcia1218 Hello. I'm actually looking for a good trader that can help me trade and make good profit, I've been seeing so many recommendations but I don't think they're trusted. Please do you have any recommendations?
The last time tech or qqq outperformed like this was the top in Mar 2000, then qqq melted away 80% of it's gains in a little over 2 yrs down to 25. Interesting to note a year later that QQQ is up 18%, SCHD is flat, and VOO is up 8% from when the numbers for this video were taken. Tech remains a strong investment area.
Same 3 ETFs since 2021 -YTD is a different story. SCHD is outperforming over the last 1.83 years. Now, is that significant? Safer? or a reason to have both. I like VGT or FTEC over QQQ for its very similar performance with a much lower ER.

Question about SCHD. So if i put a 100,000 into SCHD I would have 1317 shares at 0.7034 which is 926. Now since it pays quarterly is that 926 a month or 926 divided by 3 which is 308 a month. I could never figure that out. Right now I have JEPI, JEPQ and BSTZ which pay my house payment. I think SCHD would be good for growth!
How much would I have to DCA Monthly to get $5m by 30 years in my etf spread? 10% - VOO 30% - XMMO 5% - CEF 40% - AIRR 5% - DXJ 10% - IXN - If it's too much just VOO is okay :P
Assuming the growth rates for the next ten years will be the same as the last ten years is not wise. For the last ten years, interest rates were falling. Falling interest rates supports tech stocks much more than the the more stable dividend payers. Interest rates can't fall for the next ten years. Here is a good case for how much time you are leaving the money in. If withdrawal is 1 to 5 years, then SCHD may be the best choice. However, if 10 years or more, then the qqqm is better. Now, looking at the qqq with the recent drop, it may be the best regardless. I have noticed in the last 30 days. The 500 is lagging the qqq.
Just a ten year backtest is a very narrow historical range. Did you know that some equity indices returned zero for certain decades throughout history? Also, QQQ outperformed due to lower interest rates but that is reversing. It's not as easy as: "Just buy the highest returning index the past ten years and sit on it."
Comparing SCHD to QQQ is just strange to me--very different objectives and fund styles. Also the future assumptions were faulty. SCHD isn't a growth fund like QQQ.
It's all on ur investing goal if ur willing to put money in a Ira a cd or savings account I would rather buy qqq add and treat it as such without worrying about selling overall growth over the long term and collecting a dividend so going all in and not worrying about the noise is a a good strategy as well but nice comparison 😊
it does not matter....in past and in future no body will beat the market....so simple it is that simply put your money in market...been said either QQQ or SPY
Its always strange to me that we say market is forward looking yet everyone tries to predict the next 30 years growth based on just this last decade when we have had nothing but ZIRP and a huge deficit with extreme QE...if all that continues for the next 10-30 years $1m wont even cover 5 years worth of retirement. will not be shocked at all to see the next 10 years of QQQ look like 2000-2010 rather than 2010-present
I am far from an expert, have we not been in a bull market from like 2011 till about 2022 with some short exceptions. I dont know if tech is way to go for heavy investing going forward. Thoughts?
I' ve got £100k to invest. I want to build a nest egg for when I'm older. I want to know if it's a good idea to add all my savings into a long term ETF, set and forget Come back in 20-30 years, instead of 250-300 DCA every month. Which ETF would you recommend.?

This is 10 years and the last 10 years growth stocks have performed very well. Over the long term value stocks perform better. Also international stocks are undervalued compared to US stocks right now. A lot of people make their decisions based on the last 10 years which IMO is a mistake. Growth stocks are really overpriced now.
I'm trying to understand when you say diversify when qqq is starting to go down, so dont sell but hold and buy other etf's? or buy more qqq to dollar cost ave?
Seeing this I started to wonder. I own Vanguard S&P500 ETF but the price is different. What's the difference between VOO and S&P 500 UCITS ETF (VUSA)? Probably the difference is that I invest on LSE and VOO can only be bought in US?
If you are a non-US investor, VUSA is better for tax reasons (lower dividend withholding tax 15% vs 30% VOO) and you will also not be paying US estate tax. It also has much lower unit price so you could invest less at a time if needed ($73 VUSA vs $383 VOO).
Hi Jim, thanks for putting this on! Question, the excel is for estimating the compound interest - but isn't this the same as setting the option "reinvest dividends" to ON in Portfolio Visualizer? or am I missing something? I am pretty new to investing so that can pretty well be the case...

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead.

I’ve been making more than $65k passively investing with John Desmond Heppolette, and I don’t have to do much work. It doesn’t matter if the market is crashing, I will always make good profit returns.

QQQ thrived with low interest rates, which are great for growth stocks. Now they'll have to borrow money at a higher rate so I don't expect that it will continue to overperform. But who knows?
This didn't age well.

Normally, I wouldn't buy-and-hold assets, but eight months ago, I made purchases of over $300k, and it gladdens my heart that this is all happening now.
@@mikegarvey17Please can you leave the info of your lnvestment advsor here?
Sure. She goes by ‘GERTRUDE MARGARET QUINTO’. Just research the name. All of this happened in less than a year after she told me what to do.
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran an online search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing
Thanks, your the first person that has explained why you might want tp buy schd over qqqm even though it vastly putperforms schd. I think ill go with a split portfolio between qqqm and schd so i get growth and still hedge against market downturns even yhough i dont plan to sell for a long time.
What're your thoughts on a good ETF that you would hold to go along with QQQ in an IRA? I still have a long way to go. Don't mind risk. But is there an etf in here you like in addition to QQQ that covers different sectors?
All these funds are 100% US. International diversification is important! VTSAX and VTIAX are all you need for stocks, or better yet VTWAX.

The last time tech or qqq outperformed like this was the top in Mar 2000, then qqq melted away 80% of it's gains in a little over 2 yrs down to 25. If you bought near the top you would have to wait 14 yrs to break even in 2014. qqq pretty much took a rest for 10 yrs. I would have way more in SCHD going forward in 2022 and be happy getting the dividend.
I hear what you’re saying. Here is a good resource to solidify what you’re saying

I guess it comes down to… has Invesco learned from the past to make sure that doesn’t happen again? Who knows? They hold Apple and MsFT at 22%… is this risky? I think Warren Buffett holds more Apple as a percentage than this.
Ultimately, This is one of the reasons I said at the end… please diversify and hold long term.
But thank you for keeping us younger bucks who have only been in the market for less than 10yrs keeping our feet on the ground lol and sharing a snapshot of the long term history
I buy 33%qqqm, 33%voo, 33%schd, will hold them for least 30years. No stress.
@@jian11188 consider qqqm. It’s basically same Nasdaq 100 tech etf with lower expense ratio.
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my whole life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Mrs Jennifer Rose..
I'm surprised you know her. I've been making a lot of profits investing with her for a few months now.
Mrs Rose changed my life because of the high profits I got from investing with her.
You invest with Mrs Rose too? Wow that woman has been a blessing to me and my family.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
I was skeptical at first till I decided to try. Its huge returns is awesome. I can't say much.
I started with equal amounts of QQQ and SPY. As I grew older, I started buying more SPY.
My funds are in VGT but I would do QQQM over qqq. It’s basically same etf with a lower E/ratio.
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.
The pandemic came and taught everyone the importance of having multiple stream of income, unfortunately having a nice paying job doesn't mean you are financial secured anymore. So we all need to put in an extra-income earning chance, like investments.
Investment is that tiny line that separates the RICH from the POOR. The foolish from wise sorry to say. I can proudly say I am wise today because I can provide for my family through my investments.
Really am confused especially in the market analysis, how do people take advantage trading them??
Oh please,,, how can someone get to speak with Mrs Camille ,,, I really have poor stream of income😓
Thanks for sharing, I will definitely ensure to do that 🙏
Invest in qqq and plan on selling and buying schd when you are getting ready for the income.
Interesting to note a year later that QQQ is up 18%, SCHD is flat, and VOO is up 8% from when the numbers for this video were taken. Tech remains a strong investment area.
Great work 👍, I keep saying that trading and investing is very profitable and safe with the right help and guidance

Same 3 ETFs since 2021 -YTD is a different story. SCHD is outperforming over the last 1.83 years. Now, is that significant? Safer? or a reason to have both. I like VGT or FTEC over QQQ for its very similar performance with a much lower ER.
Same, that's why I went with VGT over QQQ
@@Dajen_Tkbut VGT doesn’t have Tesla, Google, Meta, Amazon and more.
I like SCHD! I also have some SCHG for growth !
Adding ETFs with Growth is good in bill market runs!
QQQ always been good based on historical data. I agree it does drop at harder than most but it gains more than others. One can easily diluite QQQ with SPLV or SCHD to minimize the violatity.
You have to account for the dividends growth for the schd
Great video Jim! Thanks for the response. I agree about the diversity with investing 100%. Now time to pick up some more qqqm!!
Thanks for the video suggestion! It’s given me a few more ideas for videos
@@JimTheProducer 👍👌great!
I have been back testing variations of tqqq portfolio's seems like contributions when there is a 10%, 20% drop help the volatility drag a lot. Also. Touch of EDV or TMF help if contributions aren't added.
don't ever panic sell. if anything, buy more as it goes down. that's why it's important to have cash on hand for those moments when prices drop. think of it as a sale at your favorite store.
That was very informative. Thank you very much. I also liked & subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
Isn’t QQQ more similar to VGT or VOOG and SCHG? Wouldn’t these be a better comparison?
I might have missed it but in one of the inputs is there “dividend growth” because that’s a huge part of owning SCHD
Thanks for video.
That’s cool and all but you need to see how the numbers would look if we have the next 5-10 years of recession/depression where we have flat to negative growth in stocks. Let’s be honest the future 10 years will not be like the last 10. Thank you
My p0rtfolio is plummeting significantly, I’ve lost about $320k within a few months and I'm not confident about picking st0cks anymore. Are there really no other options for me to gain from the stock market?

Thanks for sharing, I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.
FTEC , MGK is better PERFORMANCE add VIG or VYM for dividend. The market always revert back to the MEANS so just buy VOO or VTI for a one fund portfolio add VIG for 2 fund portfolio.
I've got both jepi and jepq with qqq for growth & im doing ridiculously well....thank me later if u try this combo for the long haul 😉😎
1317 shares x $2.56 dividend per share divided by 4 quarters = $842/quarter or $280/month.
@@dtsect pretty terrible dividend payments compared to JEPI, JEPQ amd BSTZ!
Probably best to go 100% on Tapestry's buyout of Capri
How much would I have to DCA Monthly to get $5m by 30 years in my etf spread?
10% - VOO
30% - XMMO
5% - CEF
40% - AIRR
5% - DXJ
10% - IXN
- If it's too much just VOO is okay :P

Assuming the growth rates for the next ten years will be the same as the last ten years is not wise. For the last ten years, interest rates were falling. Falling interest rates supports tech stocks much more than the the more stable dividend payers. Interest rates can't fall for the next ten years. I'll fix your headline for you: #1 WAS Shockingly Good.

Thank you. Please note that although QQQ came out in top, the numbers on the comparison are hard to read. It would have been more helpful if you would actually say what the ending amount for each investment at the end of 10 years.
Thanks for this analysis! How would you compare QQQ with VGT? Would you prefer to take the latter?
10 years 😂😂😂
That's not enough of a back test to say "for the long term"
Thank you for the explanation, is it possible to get a copy of the calculator?
I LOVE VOO
Just a ten year backtest is a very narrow historical range. Did you know that some equity indices returned zero for certain decades throughout history? Also, QQQ outperformed due to lower interest rates but that is reversing. It's not as easy as: "Just buy the highest returning index the past ten years and sit on it."
Or is it
Drip method into VOO and chill.
At 0 to negative interest rates qqq wins. SCHD is more solid all around
Comparing SCHD to QQQ is just strange to me--very different objectives and fund styles. Also the future assumptions were faulty. SCHD isn't a growth fund like QQQ.
would u recommend to hokf all 3, in roughly equal amounts to diversify?
It’s completely up to you and your investment goals. That’s definitely a strategy. Just keep researching
It's all on ur investing goal if ur willing to put money in a Ira a cd or savings account I would rather buy qqq add and treat it as such without worrying about selling overall growth over the long term and collecting a dividend so going all in and not worrying about the noise is a a good strategy as well but nice comparison 😊
thank you for the excellent informative video.
it does not matter....in past and in future no body will beat the market....so simple it is that simply put your money in market...been said either QQQ or SPY
In the future somebody will definitely beat the market.
But MOST people will not
Past
performance has zero indication of future performances
QQQM has a lower expense ratio. Wouldn’t that be better compared to QQQ?
But QQQ is exceptionally tech heavy and will continue to take losses as interest rates rise or continue to stay elevated.
Thanks for the knowledge !
I have VOO, SCHD & QQQM in my 3 fund portfolio
Good mix
What's your percentage allocation of each?
Combine TQQQ or QLD with SCHD and rebalance annually for some really great returns.
Yeah go ahead a get all these beginners into a leveraged fund with decay. Don’t be stupid this video was made for newbies.
Great vid. Thank you!
I am far from an expert, have we not been in a bull market from like 2011 till about 2022 with some short exceptions. I dont know if tech is way to go for heavy investing going forward. Thoughts?
Tech is the future. There's no way around that
Thank you for the great work!
I' ve got £100k to invest. I want to build a nest egg for when I'm older. I want to know if it's a good idea to add all my savings into a long term ETF, set and forget Come back in 20-30 years, instead of 250-300 DCA every month. Which ETF would you recommend.?
As they say, time IN the market is better than trying to time the market. I think you should seek advice from a licensed financial advisor. They’ll give you guide on high risk and low risk investment strategies for your portfolio
Accurate asset allocation is crucial with an Experts guidance. I have 850k in equity, 275 cash earning 5.25 interest, 685k in 401k, 120k cash account, 80k in car assets ( paid off cars) Gold and silver bars. age is 48. My advisor helped me realign my portfolio to my risk tolerance and it boomed shortly.
How do I reach out to a financial advisor, my portfolio has been struggling since 2022 and I’ve been holding on by the skin of my teeth.
"Rebecca Nassar Dunne" is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

Amazing! I just subscribed. How do I know if I'm spending my investments too thin?
Seeing this I started to wonder. I own Vanguard S&P500 ETF but the price is different. What's the difference between VOO and S&P 500 UCITS ETF (VUSA)? Probably the difference is that I invest on LSE and VOO can only be bought in US?
If you are a non-US investor, VUSA is better for tax reasons (lower dividend withholding tax 15% vs 30% VOO) and you will also not be paying US estate tax. It also has much lower unit price so you could invest less at a time if needed ($73 VUSA vs $383 VOO).
The top 100 tech companies will never face anti trust issues or competition
No clear winner...invest in all 3. Trust.
