Women have better food gather rates, CS are better with wood, stone and metal; so if you utilize your units accordingly you can have the same eco output with fewer units than someone who mixes the gathering roles more. Edit: And of course there are the gathering tecs; if you research one with +25% you can do with four units what you used five for before. But I didn't see any player really going into this.
It seems to be part of the AutoCiv mod. I recommend the mod, because it's what allows people in your games to simply name their civ in the game lobby and have it get set without the host having to do it manually. That's the main reason for the mod. I didn't realize it was the mod that also ads that little graphic which shows data for and your allies. Other mods I recommend: Feldmap, so that you have the "mainland balanced" map Local Ratings - so that you have an additional statistic about ppl's skill levels based on the games you've played with them And that's it. Usually I play with these 3. Sometimes I try the community mod, which gets updated every few months, and let's you play with other ppl using the community mod.
