I have 50 grail watches!!!! Everything from Rolex to ALS to VC etc ..What I am trying to say is that every time something new comes along it displaces the grail to the number 2 position . Enjoy your AP. BTW I love your content

I just got allocated my first AP RO (steel silver dial) 4 months back from AP boutique). Have had my eye on a chrono for a while….
That slo-mo cigar light up and proceeding AP self characterization are brilliant... not to mention the editing, visuals, music and especially the 3 or so minutes which are over the f'n top! ... top of the pops!

Gorgeous watch. I think you should try a Vacheron Overseas dual time or chronograph. It’s got size and oozes class. Not to mention 150m water resistance, a true sports watch. That is all I wear now. Very satisfying. The jump to the holy trinity is indeed inevitable 💯

Have the 26331st (Panda) and like you, the contrast of the sub-dials was what drew to the piece. F-n luv it

At 7:53. They remind me of the French style beignets you can buy in Paris or New Orleans. A lot of sugar and sweet. The Greeks make a miniature version of this pastry during wedding season in the summer.
I've had a lot of beignets. They're not the same. It's a different experience.

After collecting watches for 30 years and never AR RO nor any genta design for that matter. Last month in Frankfurt I decided to give it a try. Some guy with a notebook intercepted me at the door and said without an appointment I could not get in while the boutique was clearly empty. I said go to hell and crossed the street to Lange and there I was welcomed like a king, they let me try on any watch I wanted and served me champagne. Then I went to FP Journe and same great welcome and care event to a potential customer. Beside watches the experience is also very important. When my Blancpain case aged and started to peel I called Blancpain to order a new travelling case they said it would cost my 300 euro. I said ok. When I went to Pick it up and went to pay they said Monsieur it is a gift from Maison Blancpain so it is free for you. In these cases this is what I call service and customer retention. As for AP I will never ever return again.

Great video. Much like your taste for the pastry, my personal taste for the AP is…. If I were gifted one, I’d run fast to sell it off for something I like. Glad you love it and if we all liked the same thing, there’d only be need for one watch.

A wonderful video, Oisin, always inspirational and entertaining. Your AP is a mans man watch, it fits you perfectly. One watch from Patek is the 5524, blue dial you would love, 42 mm that steps outside of the Patek lineup. I’m wearing my AP Code 1159 chronograph with the blue gradient and rose gold dial, true art. My God, look at Venice still all pretty with sparkling lights. Shameless. Anyway, it’s good to appreciate what we have. For collectors the game is always what’s next, what’s around the corner. Yet sometimes we fail to appreciate what we already have. Just this afternoon I took out my Sub Date and strapped it on for the first time in a year. It was like bumping into a dear old friend you haven’t seen in an age and having a beer or five. Hello dear friend. It’s been a while. We’ve been on some world adventures together. Let’s sit together a while and reflect. Feel the love.

Love this. I think you have made the same video in the past with the Tudor Chronograph where you went for the same food. That was my favorite. I love the way you enjoyed the pastry. It makes me wanna get something to eat. AP seems regressing. The previous models 26331st, 15400, 15450 etc were all better looking than the current models. But that is just my personal taste. Thanks again for the video.
The definition of a grail watch is to my mind the best one you can safely afford and live with, having no regrets.
