Been divorced almost 6 years next month. I still think about her and songs like this don’t help 😆. Still have dreams about her. I’ve stayed single because of a broken heart 💔. It’s never been put back together because of how she left but today comes no matter what. I Remember Us.
I’m so sorry I’ve been divorced for 12 years and my ex-husband was so depressed. He didn’t even date anybody for eight years. He finally got remarried a few years ago.
@@KatieF-s3z Yea it’s my choice to stay single. Unfortunately women don’t do it for me like before. I changed directions into hobbies and do that instead of relationships. It’s golf and cars when I’m not with my kids. I told myself I’m still married to my kids. In 6 years my kids have seen me with 0 women. And of course the one time I went on a date the EX had to put her two cents in when she was the one who messed around. I don’t look at females as happiness anymore. I do what I want when I want and will continue to do so. I could very well be alone for years to come and completely 💯 fine with it.

This phrase kept me focused: “If kids have ONE sane parent, that instills values, (& God) they’ll be more than fine.” They are in their mid-20’s, & All wonder What, & how I did it. 🤷♀️ I focused on my job (being a solid mom) Dating was like Water-boarding. Their dad died in 2021. And Here I am. Maybe I’ll see you at the driving range. 😉 ⛳️
