Thank you so much, I am waiting for my order to be processed and being proactive and try to absorb as much information on this printer. I am supper excited as this will replace my POD vendor and I will have control of all the QC and shipping that POD seems to slack on.
@@brandonconway44 I do love it. This video saved me in setting up especially becuase I bought it from someone. If I could get the white working, i'd be running by now. Fingers crossed! are you thinking of getting one.
Hey so Im using my Mac with the printer and on the garment creator where it says print its not like blue to click , I was wondering how to fix this as the printer says ready but I can't print on the actual garment creator, everything was working fine yesterday, if you know what's wrong would help so much
Hey @azankhan6522 it would be easier to provide you the help you are requesting if you could please send an email with some additional information. Please provide as much info (including cut settings / exact material / screen grabs) as possible when emailing. My email can be found through the contact page on Silhouette School Blog www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/p/blog-page_9.html
The reason you want to tilt it toward the home side is so that the print head doesn't "free fall" to the other side. It's parked on the home side so tiling it that way helps keep it safe.
Is there really no way to change the mode to white/color when you first open your f2100? I bought one from someone and I think he may have pressed the high speed color option. Praying there is a solution because it is currently not printing white and we've done everything else.
My guess is you had garment creator running then plugged the USB in and it won't go online? If so, I've experienced that and had to close out of the program and restart. For some reason it doesn't seem to recognize the USB has been plugged after it's been running awhile
Hello... Im a new epson F2100 owner. I use a MacBook Pro but I can't seem to find the download for "Sonoma" it states on the website to use OS 14x but there is no garment creator file to download in utilities at all.
@@SilhouetteSchool Thanks for the response. I’ve just received the machine yesterday & I was setting it up today. Tech support is closed on the weekends so I will try Monday. I decided to play around with the version for 12x on Mac (latest that has garment creator available). I’m currently watching your video titled “Picking the garment creator best settings” I was able to download it while following along with you but not sure if it will work error free for prints. I have not yet loaded the F2100 with ink. I just took it out the box & set it in its location.
This is a great machine and awesome for DTF. But the white ink is so expensive! Just be aware on average you have to price your DTFs around $6-8 per 12x16 sheet to make any money. Most of my prints average $2+ of ink cost. Plus 50 cents or so on paper and then the powder plus time. Sometimes it doesn’t seem worth it to resell DTFs. So I wouldn’t get it strictly for DTF but it’s definitely faster than anything else out there and very reliable. And DTG prints are awesome. Be prepared to buy another rip as well. Garment creator is easy to use but not the best.
Yes I agree..the link, per ML, is expensive compared to other DTF printers especially those that do not use cartridges. Having the DTF option is so nice though b/c you then aren't limited by pre-treated garments.

If your not wanting to sell transfers, just print them to put on shirts for your boutique to sell. Do you recommend something different?

Wonderful!
I can't wait for mine to be delivered :)
Are you likeing it so far?

Buying one second hand but during nozzle check neither whites worked. What do you do then? Did a heavy cleaning.
Best review and setup tutorial, even better than the ones from Epson. Thank you! (Subscribed)

When transporting after the initial setup, can it still be tilted towards the home side?
If you need to move your printer, I would really recommend reaching out to the manufacturer.
The reason you want to tilt it toward the home side is so that the print head doesn't "free fall" to the other side. It's parked on the home side so tiling it that way helps keep it safe.
Can you use these settings with the f2270?
Should be able to, yes. They are very similar!

That would be something I would contact Epson support about.
Hello… how do you get the printer online in garment creator?

@@SilhouetteSchool ok thanks …so I should plug in the usb then run garment creator?
My question is, where can I get a USB? Is this the only way to connect to your computer?
Is the maintanance chart available to download anywhere, I don't have it?
Hey there, I'd reach out to your retailer.
@@SilhouetteSchool I managed to find a downloadable one from Epson. Thanks

Hmm that I'm not sure about b/c I haven't updated to Sonoma yet. Have you reached out to Epson to ask about that download?

@@Bandionaire Hi! Did you figure out a solution? Having the same problem. Thanks!
During setup mine did not ask me to choose a mode…so I wasn’t able to select white ink/color ink. What do I do now?
It will always ask you what mode you want to set the printer as. Is it printing correctly now with the color layer first then white on top?
Where is the link to the table that you are using? I do not see it.
