Yeah I hold it lightly sometimes , it's a solid wing and flys by itself really . I think if your going straight and have you hands resting on the risers its less drag than having your arms out like you have been crucified 🤣, I think I'm just being lazy and I need to adjust my seat to tilt forward a bit because it feels like it wants to tip over backwards and maybe that's why I hold the risers . Had a good day today as well with lots of turns and am getting better at not doing that , must be the comfort feeling you get from holding a base bar🤣cheers Giles I will work on that asap
Gday mate , I think there is room for both in your life , I've only been doing novice flying in the para so far but can see you can scare yourself if you want to as your skills get better . Good to fly slow on a calm day a couple of feet above the trees on the slope just chillin but personally I won't be thermally inland with one . The only thing better than hang gliding is doing both , yesterday I did 2 hours in the calm morning seabreeze then 2 hours in the hangy on the low cliffs in the arvo when it picked up to 20 knots , best of both worlds , also have an aeros ant nanolight trike 😉😁. Whatever you choose respect the other discipline always , we are all aviators 🤝🤙
Hi Paul, I noticed the distinctive comfort grab on the risers. Are you enjoying the different style of flying?

Hi Paul. Do you have an opinion yet on which flying you prefer, HG or PG?
