I’m a 43 yr old mother of a 20 and 17 yr old. I’ve always listened to a lot of different music. I will listen to anything, any genre as long as it sounds good to the ear. I’ve listened to Korn for over 20 yrs. Their music always spoke to me and my internal struggle. Music was, and often times, still is, one of the few things that help me deal with daily life and all the shit I can’t control. Both my kids were listening to Korn in the womb! Now they both have a very broad taste in music. Nothing makes me more proud. They now listen to everything under the sun and we all just sit around and share music and vibe. I love that. Share music with your kids. Listen to their music and LISTEN TO YOUR KIDS! Be to them what you never had.

September 1994. I just turned 16. I listen to the local rock radio station every night. Pantera, Metallica, AIC, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Tool, Megadeth, whatever. Out of nowhere I'm half asleep with my Walkman and headphones on and i hear ARE YOU READY!?!?!? and the riff comes in -- mind blown. That weekend I drive down to Wherehouse Records, and spend 30 minutes looking for a song or album by the band "CORE" based on what I thought I heard the DJ say... fml. Finally some other kid kicks in on his board, and hears me talking to the lady at the register.. "Oh you mean KORN!" And thats how I ended up with my love of KoRn for so many years.

July 2024 🤟, absolute classic
ik those comments on every song ever are annoying 😭
Fieldiy may not be the most technical bassist but his bass just pops and has a unique style and sound. Honestly its what drew me to Korn. I had never heard bass like that, especially in heavy metal music. Let’s not forget David’s drumming. Hip hop, disco, jazz, metal drumming at its finest
I was 7 years old in 1995, and that's when I first heard this song in a record store my parents went to. I was mesmerized.
Now at age 33, this song hits the same way it did back then. Some songs and bands just stick with you for life. Korn definitely did.
You got into open at 7?
K O R N GOOD 👍
First time I heard this song was the ending credits of Street Fighter II and yeah, I was also mesmerized as a child lol. I still remember getting that movie on VHS and repeatedly playing the credits over and over again
Amen 🙏
It's weird to think how some of these ppl of the 90s were out earlier than I'd think. But then it does make some sense. Around this time, I was around my kids age today, still trying to figure out what I even liked. It was kind of close to the time when we had moved from the city to the suburbs too. I remember listening to the r&b singer, Jon b.he was like my fav, lol. & thats mainly all of what I even remember. I knew my older bro stole that cd & then some. That doofus had a collection of my cds in his car & didn't even lock his car 1 time. I went through his cds, fed up, taking a needle to some. I sorted through that stuff like hmmm 🤔 what would I like 😋...? We weren't that far along from when we used to have sitters, & I knew I had heard my sitter committing suicide to nirvana. I prob pretty much didn't know how to take that. But I do remember looking at the life is peachy cd like this rock stuff... r they purposely trying to look frightening? Heh look at them looking mean... while that other dude is just smiling away (david). They're kinda cute. Like the bsb's that I don't even really listen to but might... 😅 ppl forever guessing stuff ud listen to is like I mean, 🤷🏻♀️ I know it seems kind of fitting for my times. But just not really. Like, I honestly prob was still listening to the spice Girls back then too. Not alotta bsb tho. Good xs. He used to pretend he was all nice, offering rides, just to drop me off at the mall not even bothering to pick me up
Seen these guys about 15x. 3rd time was Woodstock '99. Place went fucking nuts. I ended up after this song roughly 300 yards away from the friends I was standing with. Lost my shoes. My shirt and anyone I was with. Best concert of my life
Looked fucking epic

Davis:Are you ready?!!!!!!!
Neck:Hell no
Immediately when I heard it I felt the energy, it flew through the dinamics into the veins
Love Korn. Especially Jonathan Davis's voice!
Korn's Blind is the by far the best song of their debut in 1994.
Nah, it's definitely not the best.
This track..... The reason i picked up drums at 13 yrs, and been doing it for 26 yrs now. ..
and fieldy can still only play two notes
Silvera brought art to all the boring drummers at that point.
Someone do the math
39 dummy
this song isnt 26 yrs old
I was 5 when I was introduced to these guys. Thank you my older cousins.
At the time, Korn literally saved my mental health. I was going through a really hard time, where the exit was nowhere to be seen. They gave me energy and strength to go through... ❤
@JonathanDavis-Bruh, really ? 😑
Sometimes all that will do is angry music
Fun fact: this song is older to us than Black Sabbath’s Paranoid was to them
What?
Damn
This confused the hell out me for a minute, but I understand now lol
Us and them
He used the angieian method of prihectiry surpassibiliry to incur the sum of the negative between us and them. Its really quite simple
When this album came out I was in one of the darkest moments of my life, my mom committed suicide for her deep depresión when I was 11 years old in the year of 94, she was the best mom anyone could have, I was severely depressed because of this and later I started drinking and taking drugs, Korn and their music helped me cope those times full of darkness.
Я Неллз Влад
Honestly the new album really shohcased how good their lyricism is. I can tell they really pushed themselves and i still love the classics
Hope you're doing better man. Big hug for the Korn fans! Keep strong.
@@luisbarru thanks for your words.
I'm really sorry you had to go through that, stay strong, I wish you all the best!
Korn was revolutionary in the metal game. Unique and such a badass band. I'll forever be a Korn fan 🤘
I honestly cannot believe that Critics tried to bash this album when it released. It’s a masterpiece.
To this day it is the self-titled album is the most emotionally charged album I've ever heard, and is a timeless piece of art. Fuck whatever the critics tried to say about it.
Pieza maestra
there's a a thing most beautiful of this song? yes
the move of jonathan
Son fluor
What...
I remember being 6 years old hearing my parents play korn while I was in the backseat of the car. 24 now still listening to them. Only wish is that I could have been a young adult while the music was coming out.
I can relate to that
Yeah my dad loved Korn and would play it when I was little, he still goes to their concerts to this day.
I was in my teens in the nu metal era. It was pretty awesome, honestly.
Thats what imma do with my kid 😆😆
I’m only three years old and I love Korn.
1:30
Give flowers to our boy on backup vocals, really punctuates the bar, it sounds so nice.
THIS started it all!
Still in 2019 blows everything else away.
Nah mate. Tons of stuff that blow this away.
What would that be other than slipknot who is trending?
Are you talking about korn? If that’s the case nothing beats this album especially ball tongue /predictable/daddy
Need I say more ?
Saw them tonight! Still fucking amazing!
ninajmisfit13 bad ass. Hope they come back to KC soon.
I’m 42 and I still wear adidas pants everyday!
Agreed. Just saw them again last month. Still hard core. Love Korn always have always will.
