Fun fact: The Carnotaurus from the game Is the exact same design from the JP2 Nobel these dudes could camouflage! In the Novel not even some T-Rexes would mess with them.

No one ever mentions this, but when you consider the context of their biology, this sole trait became one big steroid for them that allowed them much greater success with hunting and ambushing their prey, and with fighting and scaring off stronger and bigger foes in their territory. It's a crime we never got to see this in any of the movies or any of the other media since it was just too perfect.
