@@seanlee7054 its easier to attack t2 going first, than it is to attack t1 going second. If your opponent cannot attack t1 going second, then there is no downside to calling first and still attacking first.
This content is NUTS! The only thing I was left wandering after watching it is: what would he cut to make space for rotomV? which cards didn't perform as he desired during the tournament?
at 21:28 it's mentioned that vs bolt you want to push pikachu ex going first but do they not just go slither wing attach sada ko pika with the burn and then the game ends? awesome content as usual loved listening and learning.
Sorry I didn’t catch it, is he going first or second? I was thinking on going always second in order to get the first 2 prices unless your match is against terapagos, regidrago or a second stage deck as charizard or dragapult. Am I correct? Can somebody explain me ! Thanks and have a great day !
If the opponent is playing a deck that can take two prize cards turn one going second, you should call second. Otherwise first, including if you don’t know what they’re playing (there is so many decks that can’t attack t1)
I love the bolt hate but I lose to it every time in tournament in 3 turns. They just explode 3 ex's GG. Even when I Iono them to two cards they just do greninja+fez and hit a sada every single time. My last two games against it in tournament I went first then lost in 3 attacks so I literally had 0 chance to win the game with only 2 turns of attacking.
He’s completely ignoring his luck factor in that tourney. No shot a deck with no hand manipulation (iono, judge, etc) is gonna beat players that aren’t bricking
Well, he clearly did so you are wrong. Also, everyone who wins a regional is lucky, but they are also extremely good. You have to be both to do well in a tournament.
Thanks for having me on Rowan! Was a lot of fun talking DON⚡️⚡️⚡️
I thought miraidon traditionally went second for the turn 1 donk. Can you explain why it's a turn 1 deck? Is it just to take away setup

@@seanlee7054most of the meta is also a going first deck so taking away that option while getting an extra turn to setup is so good
Thanks for the insight both! 🙏
Hi! You were a goat bringing Miraidon and winning the event! In the video you talk about inserting a Rotom... what would you cut to add it?
I really appreciate this type of content, it's great to see the thought process of great players behind the deck
that interaction with bravery charm vs drago kyurem blew my mind
same
2 legends! Thanks for dropping this gem of an interview 💪🏻🔥
just don't crush me at a league cup with this information!

Mew and Luminion are the most obvious cuts for me
it seemed to me as if he wouldn't cut a single card... maybe the 16th lightning energy?

yeah maybe push magnemite... it is quite difficult for them to slither wing if they start bolt which is quite likely
Couple good yutes fr
ogermon
This video makes me feel confident about playing Roaring moon ex too. Realizing it's all about taking games early with gust cards to control the board
He never misses with this content.
Great content
What do we do against mimi
i wonder if prime is just better in best of one becasue i assume then you need to blind second

Doesn’t matter when you can 2-2-2 faster than any other deck

@@BrandoManwhat a great comment. Couldn’t have said it better myself.
