Ah I don't think anyone thinks the quality on this is bad. In fact, I think it's a very good quality audio recorded performance. And it is refreshing to watch this version of RoR Live. That's a festival so obviously they can't have as much theatrics but it's still amazing and the crowd in that performance is insanely good. The mosh pits are different because if you remember at the end of the Gimme Chocolate video, they say "See you in the Mosh'sh' pit". It's a less violent, more soft kind of moshpit. There are absolutely bands and crowds in Japan that have as violent moshpits as we have in the west, but for BABYMETAL, we like to make it safe and fun for everyone. Everyone should be smiling and having fun in a Mosh'sh' pit :).
I agree. I get a little tired of seeing the same videos over and over. I think there are things to appreciate even in the videos that aren't overall quite as good. I kind of like the Metrock 2013 version of CMIYC even tho it doesn't have Kamis. I think the girls are fantastic and the crowd is pretty good. I kind of don't like the whole idea that this is the best version and no others are worth watching. I think a lot of them are worth watching for different reasons.
Another good and thoughtful reaction and analysis. I think people like to recommend the official live in Japan video in preference to this because of the spectacular staging and performance, there isn't too much wrong with this festival performance except it doesn't have quite that sense of spectacle. So yes the Babymetal arena shows are amazing with all the staging and fireworks etc, but they give no less effort to their shows on smaller stages where they can't have the pyro and moving platforms and, as you saw here, they will still put on a great show in smaller venues and at festivals (both of which are where you are more likely to see them on their US and European tours). If this is what you prefer then there are a couple of UK festival appearances definitely worth seeing. Their first appearance at a major event outside of Asia was at Sonisphere in the UK in 2014. They were virtually unknown, aged 16 and 15, didn't speak the language and opened the main stage on the Saturday morning in front of 50-60,000 UK metalheads. 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' (most people call it IDZ) was the last song of the set. It is on the official channel and I don't recall seeing that one getting blocked. You have seen the official video for 'Karate' so you might want to compare that with the Download 2016 performance of that song - Download is in the UK again and their set was delayed by 40 minutes because of the rain - then it rained hard again while they were on stage, but the crowd stayed on.

here's the thing with Babymetal , if you want the best awesome and raw Live Performance video from them there is 2 safe ways to do it but you will do a little bit more extra work. 1. Link & Sync , you react to their video without showing the audio and video then give us the original video link for us to open on another windows and do the countdown so we can play the video at the same time. 2. Alternative Link , you react to their video and upload it to other site (Dailymotion , Vimeo , Bitchute etc.) then make a short video to let us know where you upload it. and yes , it's become this complicated when someone reacting to Babymetal but if you still want to go deeper to The Fox Hole there's no other way to do this , the road is so bright it even blinding without a guide you'll lost inside the Fox Hole. i'm sure someone in the comment will provide you with link and give you more detail description.
Even in the US, the pits are very friendly. The whole vibe at a Babymetal show is friendly. It's about the nicest fandom in rock. Eminates from the girls. Check them out if you get a chance -they don't disappoint. Check out the Glastonbury festival from last year. Yeah, Amuse will block pretty much all BABYMETAL reactions. The only way around it is to use something like Reactor Hub. Essentially, you don't include any footage or audio of the source video in your reaction, keeping your video copyright free. You input the start times etc. on the Reactor Hub site and it generates a link to open your video and the source video in a browser window together and will start and stop the videos automatically. The people who made the Hub have tried and tried, but it just doesn't work. there's no way round it. Blame Apple.

I agree that reactions are a good way to spread the word of your band, so I am not sure why they block. My brother is The Fat American. I have not reacted to that yet, but I will thanks!
They block a ton of videos. Most of the blocked ones you aren't aware of because they aren't on youtube at all. It's because they sell the DVDs for big money. There are a lot on Dailymotion and other sites. If you know where to look there is so much better content than what is on youtube.
