Great succinct reaction. Not sure what you've seen. I was just watching him singing in 2011. Different videos. The Superboy 2013 are fun. Not sure how many songs in that competition. Fake Monk, Nunchucks, I Don't Care, Bullfighting, Child, Dad I'm Home, Here We Are, Aliens, Poker Face (from Superboy and Lady Gaga sent him a message that they read to him at the end). There are so many more! I watch and listen to them over and over. Thanks for spreading his genius. American music industry can't seem to get it right for Hua Chenyu or Dimash.
You should basically watch everything from singer 2020 which he won. This was episode one. Bull fighting, call me contra and you have to believe are a few of them.
You can't go wrong with any of his performances. He has sooo many to choose from. As you may already discovered, not one song is the same style and each has certain elements of surprises. You can look up Hua Chenyu eng subs which lists many of his songs/performances from variety of shows and concerts. Also watch his interviews if you really want to get to know him personally. You will understand more why he interprets some of his songs in the way he does. Enjoy!
I think most if not all of his songs from Singer2020 can be considered his highlight reel. What stood out this season was Bullfighter《斗牛》, I really wanted to love this world 《好想爱这个世界啊 》, New World《新世界》, Madhouse/OCD 《强逼症》 & of course, what won him the crown, 7 personalities《七重人格》. Coincidentally, these songs are in his recently-released insanely popular 4th album 新世界 (NEW WORLD). That being said, the other singers this season are exceptional as well, Tia Ray, Zhou Shen, Misha, Jam Hsiao, La La, Summer Momoko, Super Vocal Boys etc.
The other singers/contestants behind the scenes who are watching his performance looked like they got a seizure, their faces were so weird haha. You would think being famous would make these make be aware of their faces, but they are quite natural and not as pretentious. Really funny to see these people’s reactions as always on Singer 😂
