I can't watch this. I tried but I can't. Everytime he sings a Bon Jovi song, by himself, its just not right (to me anyway) ... Jon should be there singing this with him. Plus, does anyone else think they sound like those "cover" bands? its kinda cheesy I think.
I wouldn't be so harsh.... What is the difference between Richie signing a Bon Jovi song or Jon getting new members to fill the roles of all the band members he has kicked out over the years? Richie put his heart an soul into this gig.
+David Forshaw Well Said David , Richie wrote most of those songs along with jon so is well entitled to perform them if and when he chooses
But Richie decided to walk away from the Bon Jovi machine and left Jon high and dry before a show. Richie wanted to do his own thing and go at his own pace. The hall of fame thing was nice but that will be the last time Jon and Richie share a stage together

tommygun24 Jesus1 Actually, considering that Richie co-wrote the song and convinced Jon to put it on the album because Jon didn't like it and whined that it was too hard to sing, I would argue that it's very possible Bon Jovi gets dropped after the failure of their 3rd album if not for Richie. The 2 guys need each other. You're comparing a polished studio version of the song sung by a 25 year old, to a crappy recording of a 55 year old. Am I saying Richie is a better singer than Jon? No. But it needs to be a fair comparison.
