Good morning, Father Doyle. Your reflection this morning has inspired me to pray today, especially for those who have distant themselves from the Church and are even persecuting it's members because of their Faith. Through the intercession of St. Stephen, may they be given the grace to come to know the Truth, JESUS!🙏🕊✨️Merry 🎄Christmas, blessings to all!!
Thank you for this message today about St Stephen. I had never thought of it before quite this way and it is fitting. May we all have a martyr’s heart to spread the message of God. 🙏🏽♥️
During COVID, our Church leaders were given the opportunity to be open to the crown of martyrdom. But, instead, chose to close our churches and our holy Masses without a fight. Let us pray tor the intercession of St. Stephen for the pope and all bishops to have a martyr’s heart, courage, and perseverance.
I look at this in another light. They were protecting the sheep AND the shepherds from the ugly virus. Why would we want to make martyrs out of our priests when there is already a shortage?! In this electronic world, I went to weekly mass online and prayed just as I would at church. God has given our world new ways to shine in our faith. We all need to be the light.
We can not be the light without receiving Jesus in the Eucharist... watching electronically is okay, just like praying, but the Churches should have never been closed...
Bless you Father Brad, I need to prepare myself to witness to let God empower me to bear the opposition to the gospel.
Thank you Fr. Brad. I love the way you bring the teachings of God to us. Such joy and love. God bless you .
May God’s grace continue to be poured out on you and all who hear your reflections. Thank you 🙏🏻

Good morning Fr. Doyle, have a blessed day.
Good Morning. Thank you
Fr.
I thought the Holy Innocents were the actual first martyrs?
Stephen was the first martyr of free will.
They were but were not baptized Christians. Stephen was the first baptized Christian martyr.
Thank you Fr. Brad
Thank you, Fr. Brad!
