    Steve that clutch is adjusted right. When your slashing put the pedal halfway down to stop the pto or all the way down to stop the pto and the forward travel. It's a 2-stage clutch unlike the grey Fergy single. stage which when you pushed the clutch down the pto and forward travel stopped. Those 35 are the best tractor ever built. Thanks for great videos.

      @golfy808 5 месяцев назад +3

      Actually.. you press the clutch half way,, allowing gear or direction change.. but pto remains spinning.. clutch fully depressed stops drive to the pto and gearbox

      Help me share it and grow it fellas. It would be much appreciated. Even though you have been for a long time😅😅. A lot of effort goes in behind the scenes that isn’t seen on here but certainly not complaining. I enjoy it regardless of the result

    Alreet Marra,
    Bloody hell, that clutch gave it's last ounce of loyalty. I'm suprised it worked at all!.
    A tractor splitting rail is definitely to go.
    Great news, I've released the hostage from customs.
    Cheers for sending it out.👍🏻
    The quality and fit are mint.👌🏻
    🤞🏻The channel kinetic energy spools back up.

      Hi mate. Yes it was rooted but still working ok for some reason. I will probably make a rail one day. I got a few measurements off the last one I used.
      I’m glad you liked it and that it fits. That’s some exquisite gear right there.
      Thanks as always mate

    "As close as rooted as shit is to swearing". PMSL, not one I'd heard of before. Australians, like us Poms, do like a choice phrase or two. The first motor vehicle I ever drove (at the princely age of 13) was a Fergie 35 on a farm in Cornwall (I believe it ran on something called TVO). The 35 (successor to the grey Fergie) is a brilliant bit of kit, even today.

      Thanks for watching mate. Yes I like those sayings😂. Those Fergies are great even today like you say. It’s a great little machine to use

    Gday Steve, splitting the tractor is the easy bit but putting them together is as easy normally and I’m buggered if I know how it was still driving when the clutch plate fell to bits, I didn’t think the price for the new plate wasn’t to bad from Lance, great video mate, cheers

    • @stevesplacedownunder
      @stevesplacedownunder  5 месяцев назад +1

      Gday Matty. Yes it was still driving and working okay. Didn’t feel great but it never has. I was surprised to see it as bad as it was. I was expecting it to be rusty but not rooted. The price was a lot better than the complete kit.

It’s still going ok though and still very much enjoying it. But it’s not an easy game. Yours is flying along mate. You’re certainly growing it very nicely. Well done mate. I will send you an email.

    Hey steve, would it help to paint or powder coat some of those pieces. Anyway good you only had to spend 100 on the friction disk. I have a bad front axle on one of my plow trucks. Hope I can get through the winter before replacing it. Great video mate. Jim
