There are times when pumba hisses that aren’t aggressive: when his eyes are half closed, relaxed body, no swatting or stomping. But when his eyes are wide, body in active attack mode, swats with paw, ears flat back while hunkers down as if to pounce, that’s when he’s hissing bc of aggression or unhappy. Body language is important to observe in animals. He’s also been allowed to develop into a dominant presence, so he no longer sees his caretakers as equals. He views them as lower in hierarchy in the home compared to himself.
Agree for the most part, but caracals in the wild live independently and do not have hierarchies, so even worse than that he simply seems himself as "the boss", I think he is just very scared and angry.
Actually he is hissing and has his ears pointed down. That means he feels threatened and is warning the owner that he's not happy with their teasing and getting in his face. This channel makes me very uncomfortable to watch, it was just recommended to me for some reason and I don't like what I see. This animal should not be fucked with and that's all his owner seems to do is annoy him and tease him to get him to look scary for the camera.
@@fitgiddlin21the owner is doing something behind the camera to make him angry, probably making a face. Both owners have content holding and rubbing pumba like a baby.
People having an animal that is meant to be in the wild is not a good idea and it should be illegal Completely. Have you ever heard the saying? "BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR". This cat is surely going to fuck you up one of these days and you wont get a chance to even regret what you're doing.
I've yet to see one video where this guy communicates with Pumba. It wouldn't hurt to say a kind loving word or two. Calming tones of voice can reduce an animal's stress and nurish the bond between Pumba and his keeper (if any bond exists outside of providing food).
ruclips.net/user/shorts0gGa2yfxYr4 pumba getting pets AND coming back for more. its probably just agitated at the camera and is affectionate to the owner.
@@IKnowHooMan-p2s this video only proves this cat is neurotic. He has been provoked so often he hisses automatically. Plenty of other videos show him hissing fiercely, ears back and striking out at the camera person. The owners do stupid stunts like dressing up in a horse costume to inflict fear and loathing. Compare this with other caracal videos and you will see the behavioural differences between a caracal that is treated with respect and the neurotic reactions of this one
@@LinguisticLifeform ruclips.net/user/shorts0gGa2yfxYr4 is this abuse? it coming back for more pets? WHILE HISSING? proves my point that it hisses to show affection.
@@IKnowHooMan-p2s I've already answered this but I'll add to it. Think of abused children for a moment. Even though they are being abused in ways that damage them they will still love their parents and even defend them when the abuse is called out. Same thing happens with animals. The owner is their world, as parents are the world to a small abused child. They don't know any better, they haven't learned what it's like to be treated with consistent respect and kindness. You've found one video now go and look at the many more videos in which this abuser provokes this caracal into angry defensive displays with camera thrust uncomfortably into his face. 😮😄 adorable ✨🐱
Exactly!! That animal runs the household with an iron paw.
Agree for the most part, but caracals in the wild live independently and do not have hierarchies, so even worse than that he simply seems himself as "the boss", I think he is just very scared and angry.
Hi Pumba.🙋🌅

Pumba hisses, growls and even fakes but never attacks, very smart bro

I love you Pumba - our kitty dream!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow surprising how much the hellcat sounds like this at idle
"the hissing means it's happy" yeah right. Next person that says that, gets a slap.
@@fitgiddlin21you are worried about the wrong thing
@@fitgiddlin21the owner is doing something behind the camera to make him angry, probably making a face. Both owners have content holding and rubbing pumba like a baby.
@@Allytheshorttt and the right thing to be worry would be…?
People having an animal that is meant to be in the wild is not a good idea and it should be illegal Completely. No wolves, bears, bengal tigers, african lions, 1200 lb kodiak grizzlies, etc. These people are crazy. There is only one exception that I have seen to date, Messi the cougar, and that is only because it really doesn't now it's a cat.
Me every time my manager approaches me.
such a pretty kitty 😆😆
Pumba is just sayin' "Hey, hooman.. I needs to feeds..."😂
Aw, he's being so adorable. ❤
What a noisy Moggy! He's lovely, couldn't do with all that hissing hissing hissing lol 😆 😄 😜

It'll probably be the last thing this owner sees
@@chrishernandez3699He can hiss and be aggressive all he wants but it doesn't change the fact he has gorgeous eyes!
Pumba actives my fight or flight instinct
He looks so cute and adorable hissing ❤😊
I wouldn’t go within 100 yards of that thing unless I was heavily armed. Why on earth would you have one of these killers as a house pet? Absolutely nuts!
Next he will be getting a chimp.
Because they're dumb.
Cute little hissing pummmmmbaaaaaaaaaa ❤❤❤❤❤
He’s always pressed!!🤣
Wonder why, stop teasing with that phone are it’s slice and dice no he is not a house cat so you can’t treat him like one, why not a Main coon if you won’t a pet.
Still Cute Overload!
Most pleasant sounding kitty purr.😊
Have you ever heard the saying? "BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR". This cat is surely going to fuck you up one of these days and you wont get a chance to even regret what you're doing.
Pumba has a lot of anger issues 😂 with the camera.
You need a hug Pumba. ❤
No amount of inconsistent kindness can offset consistent cruelty. Why are you so keen to defend these abusers? Why do they deserve your loyalty to their money making business of animal exploitation?
@@LinguisticLifeform i want proof other then "they can meow i googled it and its hissing rawr"
