I wish G Dep all the best for the future. He's done his time and has taken accountability for his actions. He was definitely dope. Child of the ghetto.
G Dep is an example of why you need to re-adjust your environment after you get successful. Not saying that he would have found another vice other than dust, but him staying around his old surroundings played a big part with his addiction. Also "even though im guilty if this" sometimes therapy is helps with deep seeded issues.
Why are they making it look like a bad thing that Dep came back to the neighborhood daily when he got on? He wasn't committing crimes and he was well-loved at home base. I don't see what's wrong with that.
Maybe because being in the neighborhood daily is how he ended up killing that man in the robbery gone wrong _before_ he got on, the same neighborhood that would later have him getting deep into dust _after_ he got on? Dep even said it all himself when he was describing the lead up to that tragedy
@@joojoobaw Nah B. You can't put the bulk of the blame for your actions on those around you. Unless they forced you to do bad. That's just being a man. Lets look at the flip side. Dep doesn't come back to the hood. Dep rocks with Puff and a bunch of phony industry cats. As the whole world can see now..There's a lot of bad to be done and mistakes waiting to happen there too. Now instead of dust, Dep gets hooked on pink cocaine or whatever weird sh*t Puff and them were doing. Instead of robbing somebody on 112th, Dep do some other sh*t that got him nervous now 'cause it got recorded on Puff's personal Summer Jam screen..and he's worried that will get revealed and he gets jammed up. Look at Puff. He didn't come back to the block like that. He went that other route. You see where he's at now while we're both reading this. At the beginning, middle, and end of the day, a man forges his own destiny. Outside of when we're mad young and coming into manhood, only a herb lets their environment forge their destiny for them.

The drugs probably didn't help 🤷🏽♂️ But it's good to see he's good now. And he got through it. I heard it was a cold case, he admitted too. But sometimes, cold cases will catch ya ass when ya in ya mid 50s especially with advances in touch DNA, and ancestral DNA . I got a cousin. And his youngest brother, who has never been in trouble caught a dui charge. Police got his DNA, then they linked it to a cold case, which happened when he wasn't even born. Then they linked it straight to my oldest cousin. He caught 12 years. Crazy. So maybe it was a blessing in disguise.
