    1st Vault: 9,575 (not shown)
    2nd Vault: 9,700

    Had she been from DDR or USSR, I am sure the score would have been at least a 9.825

    A 9,700 seems low for this vault. I think I remember reading that the judges reserved higher scores for Yurchenko-style vaults during that time period.

      Did this vault even start out of a 10 in 1987?

      ​@@GymnasticsSavesLives If you look in the background at the 15-second mark, the display panel shows the vault number (3.64) and the start value (10). I looked at the Code of Points to make sure. Interestingly, a tuck front with a half twist (2.42) had a start value of 9.9.

      @@stephenquillen1479 so the Cuervo was considered harder than the Barani. I remember that when Khorkina competed the barani at the Sydney Olympics. Thank you!
