When birds stage (that's what's happening here), they choose the same spot to do it every year. I have these two big trees in my yard that get COVERED in starlings when they start staging in the fall. There are so many birds in these trees that the branches droop and sometimes break either when there are too many on the tree or when they all take off. I'm thankful they choose to land in these trees and not the powerlines that are nearby. Otherwise, we would probably lose our power every year too!

The arc the jump from line to bird to bird to bird to bird and then back to the line of the birds were close together. I seen a squirrel watch jump from line to line. Ark jump from one line to his head and he jumped from the other line to his tail and he was zapped in midair. This is high voltage things do not actually have to touch one another they just get close enough and the arc will jump
