How I got rejected lamb to bond with Mother.

I recently had a ewe give birth to two lambs. One lamb got separated from its mother for about an hour shortly after birth. This caused the mother ewe to reject the lamb and only bond with the other. I took a few steps to get them to imprint or bond together. Another name for this video could be, how to get sheep or goat to accept rejected lamb. Fortunately after a couple days I had success. A few steps I took were locking them in a small pen together, rubbing the lambs together to share scent, and holding the lambs together in the ewe's face. Some recommend rubbing feces from the accepted lamb on the backside of the rejected one. ‪@FlanaganHomestead‬

That was so heartwarming seeing the mother go from headbutting her own lamb to going to find it.
