The powerband on this drivetrain does look more usable than the previous generation. Looking forward to seeing these new Mustangs in competitive action!
The drivetrain is the same as previous years, RY45 ford V8 with a g force 4 speed trans. It's different than the production model. But I absolutely agree that the power band does seem more usable

@Michael Marker the powerband is still different they changed the intake and throttle setup and made things alot more linear in terms of power
@@blitz3607 pretty sure they only did that on Chelsea’s car for now.
I do believe that's the only thing slightly different than previous years if I'm not mistaken
I'm so excited for the season to start. It'll be interesting sharing a car with Vaughn this year.
The RTR team are the ones that made me fall in love Mustangs and they've done it again with the new S650! So stoked to see Adam driving this chassis, can't wait to see you ripping this thing in FD!! And even though we only get to see half of the rounds, I hope you have a fantastic season!!

The RTR team are really amazing, the speed you carry at angle is crazy, speed is hard to convey in video but your gaining speed out of that first corner and slingshot out the back and its looking fast AF!
I would love to see the vehicle speed displayed and the amount of G's that they pull

This is awesome to see you still drifting in FD but flexible about what you must do for other commitments. This will start becoming a norm I believe it's precisely what KB started doing building a schedule around multiple different series and it gives sponsors more reach in different markets. The livery looks mint and the dark horse inspiration is clearly there.

I love everything about this. I missed seeing Vaughn compete. I enjoyed seeing him scale rtr and work hard on the program to make it truly great for everyone on the team. And it's always a treat when Larry makes an appearance! That man is a pioneer in automotive photography. This video ranks in my top 3 favorites for sure.

Livery looks great, really like the subtleness of it! Couple questions, new livery....new fire suit?! Also, let's say if you're doing well in the points is there a possibility that you do the whole schedule? I personally don't know what rounds you're participating in or if any of the rounds you're doing is every other kind of deal or what. Just curious is all. Good luck to you Adam and I genuinely hope that you just have FUN AND IMPROVE from last season! ;)
Also, when the team is traveling with 3 cars, are you using two haulersor towing the one extra with a single car trailer or something? That always fascinates me, the logistics and costs for a team of that caliber with huge support. Hopefully Adam reads this lol

The dash looks sick dude, and I love the embossed RTR logo, kind of subtle like.
I absolutely love the new ride, really like that forged carbon dash too. Also the ghosted RTR on the livery. This long beach course is you Adam. Believe brother. You on a higher speed course is always money. Stay aggressive dude.
That carbon dash is sick but the reflection on the windshield would get old fast
If needs be they can just scuff it up a bit to reduce reflection but Adam didn't seem to care so maybe it's only from our angle as viewers that the reflection is noticeable

That hood would distract me so much I would think it is going to flap off. I would need that tightened up for me so it is not in my visual all the time haha. Keep enjoying the fun my man!

The warp design over all is great but that color is totally not what I expected. I half expected purple when looking at the reflection in Adam's sunglasses.

It blows me away to see Adam drifting like this when only what seems like a few years ago he seemed like your typical amateur kid doing average as little skids. I was drifting my shit heaps back in the early 2000s and I got pretty good, but Adam has well and truly passed anything I ever came close to in such a short time. Dudes definitely a gifted driver.
RTR now has the best drifter in the world on their team plus Chelsea and Vaughn, will be interesting to see how how he likes the car and how the team as a whole does
