Hello dear, One tip...I was a fashion designer for many years and it would be best to specify that the interfacing you are using is called fusible interfacing. Someone who doesn't know anything about fabrics may purchase the regular interfacing that doesn't bond or fuse and not know that there are different kinds of interfacing. With that being said, keep inspiring. Many blessings
What is meant by fusible interface
@@sowndaryaravi217 Fusible interface means that it has a shiny layer on the interface fabric that bonds to your fabric when you iron it face down. So the shiny layer faces down on the fabric and when heat is applied the shiny layer melts on the fabric causing it to bond. I hope this makes sense. Blessings

I always prefer to sew ALL the areas of my bags.
I do use fabric glue when I need to.....
Never ever glue gun.

Is the same strip used to repair cracks in walls and buy in hardware stores?
And are there some kinds of thicknesses?
I sew bags and also wash them.
I want to harden some of them like the one here and don't want to use the cardboard
just for fear it will crumble in the laundry.

Right? Notice she edited the video right after she picked it up by the handle.. I seriously doubt the handle held. Why put all that work into sewing any of it if you’re not going to finish it with the same pride?
I know the hot glue bothers me to. I wouldnt use hot glue, but elaborated on this could be a really cute bag even as a purse. Reinforce the bottom, add a stronger zip, a proper lining and u could add a shoulder strap to the top sides with some D rings. Also maybe a pocket or 2 on the lining and maybe a pocket on the back. Her base patterns are great to create awesome bags.😉

Esta bonita la idea,aunque si la hiciera yo mejor le pondría un forro térmico para que sea lonchera y le pondría el cierre como debe ser,no así todo fruncido que hasta disparejo quedó y para nada usaría pegamento y mucho menos fieltro de forro. Pero bueno ya cada quien le pone de su cosecha,el caso es hacer un buen trabajo sino de nada sirve. La malla que le pone en medio de la tela y la entretela,se llama así malla para forro (al menos aquí en México así se consigue).
Lo mas mal de todo es que no les contesta y eso también es importante hacerlo,mas que nada si contestará ganaría suscriptores.

It's okay to use hot glue if you just Going to use it as a display ... But if you're going to use it in school or work I wonder if it will last long 😥😥
Glue gun has to go!!!! This is not good quality work. Since you hand sewed the zipper first it should be impeccable, with no puckering at all. Never glue handles or lining, ever. This is not professional at all & you are teaching people on your channel, how to do this work. PLEASE teach them how to do this correctly!
