I won't lie, I was far too relaxed to even think about being sarcastic this time around. I do genuinely believe this is the most scenic spot in Tohoku. Anybody got any other recommendations for scenic spots around Japan? Let us all know below!
I enjoy when the other youtubers are in your videos as well but you are the only "japanese youtuber/Vlogger" that I subscribe to (mostly because your sense of humor can't be beat.) Keep up the good videos.
I loved this video, the gorge is beautiful. I loved the calm peaceful ride. The sound of the water rushing around the boat. The captain of the boat singing. All of it was Japan! Thank you.
hey, just wanna let you know that I will live in Japan by end of this year and your videos helped me a lot. You keeping it real is quite rare in RUclips nowadays. Keep it up, I subscribed to both of your channels.
I've been binge watching all of your videos AGAIN! This is my favorite over all by far. Thanks so much for the wonderful videos! Sending love from Tennessee!
Chris, keep it up!!!! I am from Utah, across the pond and I really love watching your shinanigans in Japan. Meaningful and simple. Brother, thank you for the entertainment!
Finally a new video from this channel! I'm brazilian and I have to thank you. A several months ago when I was looking for advices about start estudying japanese I'v found your videos about this subject and it was the most important tips among others that I could found. Most of the materials Im' currently using and the method I developed to study japanese by myself cames from your videos. As times passes it shows more and more effective. You saved me a lot of time and worries. PS: sorry for my poor english.
Ahhh the peaceful sound of singing echoing off of the gorge walls mixed with the sounds of a giant machine revving it's engine and clanging. So peaceful and magical.
Binge watching your travels in northern japan with odigo travels, starting from (day 1/day 13 overall to day 24 overall) was probably the best vlog-watching experience for me. Ive never had so much fun. :D
I kept getting serious cases of de ja vu and wondered if this was a re-upload or something... then I realised I saw Rachel and Jun's video from when you went here like a year ago lol.... nice one
I've been here before in January, and the boats are all outfitted with Kotatsu's, and it really adds a special element to it. Definitely a beautiful place!
You were going to post this a year ago. Better late than never! Scenic spot ideas: Kami, Hyogo for summer and takayama, gifu for the winter. any ideas for spring and fall?
Is it weird that i have never seen this video in your list before? Was it country restricted until recently? Doesn't matter either way, a great watch and the boat ride looks calm and relaxing.
Hey me and a mate are gonna go to Japan mid next year, so many things to do haha. Cheers for the videos, wish you had more views and subscribers cause your videos are gold
So my school offers a lot of programs in Japan to study abroad. However, they offer it so many different parts of Japan, like Tokyo, Tsukuba, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka. When studying abroad, where do you think is the best place to live when just starting out? And why?
I won't lie, I was far too relaxed to even think about being sarcastic this time around. I do genuinely believe this is the most scenic spot in Tohoku. Anybody got any other recommendations for scenic spots around Japan? Let us all know below!
The gods have blessed us with the double upload week! Really, like REALLY enjoying your videos, keep it up!

Most scenic spot in Japan: Under your bed. Believe me, it looks great form here!
Thanks for share.
Very beatiful and relaxing video!
gorge.
The old guy singing was class!
Ive seen fishermen do it too. Must be a sailor thing in Japan.
Yes, he was singing about how much he despised foreigners and would gladly throw them overboard if it weren't against the law...
@@kurtn4819 let's start with you.
@@jacksonbrown4112 - Yeah, I lived there for 11 years. I know the truth
@@jacksonbrown4112 Absolute mad man! Such a high level of savagery lol.
Pro tip: if you’re studying kanji you can practice by turning on the Japanese subtitles, really does help
Great thanks
"5 Stones 1 Hole", I would like that in mug form please. That would truly exceed the sky of time and unmistakebagely be like a magic.
"5 stones, 1 hole. Let's play sex!"
Fuck is good, i like Fuck.
Clever, aren’t you?
Clever innit
I enjoy when the other youtubers are in your videos as well but you are the only "japanese youtuber/Vlogger" that I subscribe to (mostly because your sense of humor can't be beat.) Keep up the good videos.
i was lucky enough to go to Geibikei Gorge in the dead of winter, absolutely stunning. Someone on the tour actually did get the stone in the hole!
I loved this video, the gorge is beautiful. I loved the calm peaceful ride. The sound of the water rushing around the boat. The captain of the boat singing. All of it was Japan! Thank you.

"It's like something out of Lord of the Rings" at first I thought you were talking about Rachel the beautiful wood elf XD
I like how your face twitches uncontrollably when you make terrible puns. Great video, that gorge looks like a wonderful place to relax.
I'm fairly jealous
Lay back with my hand in the water looking at she sky and gorge and hearing him sing would deliver me to a new universe of calmness.
That looks gorgeous!
I kept getting serious cases of de ja vu and wondered if this was a re-upload or something... then I realised I saw Rachel and Jun's video from when you went here like a year ago lol.... nice one
Bella ikr
Love these frequent uploads :D Keep it up
More of this please!
I think you'd really enjoy and benefit from kayaking. A nice easy ride in a river like that a few times a week, I'm sure you'd be less stressed.
Man, being that boat pusher guy seems like such a chill job.
運玉: Balls of luck
*smirks*
Those rocks are incredible. Truly, it is gorge-ous.
Almost a year late. Good job, Chris, lol.
Also, didn't Jun manage to throw one of those marbles on the gorge on like his first try?
Jun's baseball background put to good use, and Chris's football skills also fully displayed.
I am totally putting this place on my list of places to go when I [eventually] go to Japan!!! this is absolutely beautiful also great puns Chris.
Your videos uplift me after I've had a bad day. Thank you, from Portland Maine, USA.
I been to Japan twice and every time I watch your videos it really makes me wonna go back :)
Oooh!! I didn't know you knew Rachel and Jun.
I still can’t believe how Chris made his last throw hit right into the hole! Sugoi!
you're my new favorite channel chris
Every video from this channel is a treasure!
Love your production, getting better every time.
Fantastic experience. Much ducking.
Mae kara wakata yo. Chris san ga hidarikiki... Ramen tabeteru toki wakateta desu...✌️🥰

"I'll have to use special effects to make it look like I got it in" thats what I do on my dates
Made my day!!!
Really enjoyed that guy's gorgeous singing! :D
Several Japanese vloggers in one video? Goldmine!!
I've been here before in January, and the boats are all outfitted with Kotatsu's, and it really adds a special element to it. Definitely a beautiful place!
if not for the humidity during the summer in Japan, I'd go back there in a heartbeat and try this.
This video needs more Natsuki.
I won’t lie. I’m visiting here when I make the trip finally
In Japan geology is important which based on frequency of earth shaking
What a great scenic video! :)
Stunning views. Camera work gave the gorge justice :D
love your stuff mate, would be amazing to catch up when i'm in Tokyo next semester ;)
lucky you

There's something about the sounds of water that is inexplicably relaxing. Though I got a strong sense of déja vu with this video ;)
Perfect Blue is amazing! Thanks for the recommend
Great video too.
I'm about to get my wisdom teeth surgery, watching these to cheer me up!
Snarktastic! Keep up the good work.
for scenic places in Tohoku, try Matsushima in Miyagi. Yammered in Yamagata for Momiji.
One of your best vids! Thumbs up aplenty.
Omg its Rachel and Jun!
4 years later I keep watching that little dance you do at 6:23 😅
Awesome video Chris ! I really enjoyed it :)

Doesn't matter either way, a great watch and the boat ride looks calm and relaxing.
Me too! Why? I had no idea he’d done anything with Rachel and Jun.
this was GORGEous
I did a double take on her shirt at 3:12
Mesmerizing Koi!
Behind the lore of chris, you can tell chris is left handed from his earlier videos when he wrote kanji in his tips for learning japanese
Chris, you are awesome, I reaaly love your humour. Please keep being amazing! ;)
I don't know why, but every time he put his fingers in the water all I could think about was "big meaty claws" from that scene in spongebob
thats bloody amazing
Rockin that mustache Chris. It really suits you.
Funny. RUclips recommended this video and it played an ad for the cat documentary.
Hey me and a mate are gonna go to Japan mid next year, so many things to do haha. Cheers for the videos, wish you had more views and subscribers cause your videos are gold
So beautiful!!! And it's amazing how cheap it was... Gosh, so many places I gotta visit XD

Seems wonderful
I watched this again after watching your new video just to experience the preferable old format.
I'm jealous ... Japan has big cities AND beautiful nature ... we have to choose between sacrificing nature or have big cities.
Dang, wish I found this before my mom came to visit.
Nicely produced.
isn't this video 10 months late? lol
Haha naaah.
LIIIEEES
No, it's 13 months late.
+Steven Thomas
sharla's engaged. what's wrong with you?
Steven Thomas
so why are you making an issue when there's none?
Beautiful!
Have you guys been travelling with odigo for this long? :o
You should have asked that guy to sing the song from that 80s cornetto advert
That bostsman's voice was incredible, it fit the sights perfectly.
i love the boatman's song lol
What is this type of singing called (the old man's song)? I want more of it!
