Burrtec Waste Industries of La Crescenta-Montrose: 2018 Annual Bulky Item Cleanup (Pt.1)

Every year, around spring time, Burrtec Waste Industries offers an annual free bulky item cleanup event for the residents of La Crescenta-Montrose. Burrtec hosts 4 cleanup events in La Crescenta-Montrose, the first one is for the Monday/Wednesday route, the second is Tuesday, the third is Thursday, and the fourth is Friday. This year, I was able to go film at 3 out of 4 of the events.
This part, part 1, was filmed at the first cleanup of the year at the Monday/Wednesday cleanup. Burrtec always sends a lot of trucks to the first cleanup because they do 2 route days in 1 day. Seen here is the oldest truck that was brought out, 2493, a classic WhiteGMC CWS Square Body FEL collecting bulk piles on the Monday route. I was quite surprised to see that this truck was still being used and running perfectly fine which is always good to see on these classic refuse trucks.
So enjoy this old beast revving, packing, and dumping bulky items. What the hek they don't even pick up all the garbage. If I was living on there rout I'd call the city and complain about that.
