I found out the hard way if you get to the seahorse boss with the basic peashooter it's literally impossible to win. He just sails straight for you and crushes you against the left side of the screen. Had a save state right before the boss and it just couldn't be done.
So both of you have played more than one of these shitty games?? What other games did this company make? Hello from Virginia my Chinese Pack In Company Loving friends
Anyone who says Energy is the worst pce game ever never played this, that one deserves game of the year compared to Deep Blue. I picked it up in Tokyo recently, gave a whole hearted effort to play for about 15 minutes, and then promptly put it where the store should have kept it: in the garbage!!
I like the underwater theme but they didn't do very much with it. The ship never gets power ups and the shitty little pea shooter stays the same through the whole boring game. The enemy patterns are repetitive and usually your best course is to just bob & weave a lot down near the bottom of the screen, letting most enemies just pass by. It's frustrating & difficult but not challenging and there are no rewards. The game ends and, like Willy Wonka says, *_"You get NOTHING."_*
The worst thing is, if you actually finish it one more time, do all the prime levels (which is pretty much impossible), you get the same thing as the first time. No new level, no final boss, no nothing. Back to square one! Talk about a half-assed game... it's a full-ass game!
Wow, what a... sub-par game. Pretty neat music, though, but everything else.. eehh.. Also, the level 4 boss looks more like a nautilus than a shrimp. Though honestly with how poorly it's drawn, I can see how the confusion would come about...

it's too difficult kusoge, but musics and graphics are beautiful. i love this game.
For an underwater themed shooter that doesn't suck, I highly recommend the excellent Hucard homebrew Atlantean by Aetherbyte
Tell me more about it? What's different about it?
It's basically a faster paced Defender
Pretty sure I smashed about 10 controllers trying to get through the 1st level of this game
This game is hard as hell its hard to get 30 seconds into it!

It's all coming back to me. Godammit this game and taking hits.
Can you believe the same guys who developed Rambo and Predator for NES made this game? Can't be surprised that it sucks.

+retrogaming That's the problem with a lot of the early TurboGrafx games. Rushed and cheaply made,
It's always good to see that the Radioactivity from Fukishima
didn't seriously alter the marine eco system.
i still remember the peaceful bgm ..

I believe that's an ammonite
Looks fun; nice longplay!
this is one of the shittiest shmups for PC engine
Looks cool but to hard
Man it looks liké dogshit
I like what they tried to do here, but the game was designed so poorly from a gameplay standpoint that it's completely wasted.
this game looks really boring and annoying.
