Dropping Onana might be a good thing. He is not exactly much better than Bayindir in any area, including crosses. Bayindir is better in releasing the ball a lot faster. And it might force Onana to improve his game. He sure need that. And Bayindir has only ONE game. Give him more chances.
Inacio would be a great signing, good under pressure, strong in the tacle, tall, is a threat in set pieces, and is class on the ball. Also played under amorim and would only cost 35 million $
Martinez could play games at DM and Inacio could slot into that LCB role. Long-term they’ll both probably be CBs, but right now I’d rather have Martinez in midfield than Casemiro or Eriksen. It’s not necessarily the problem that you say it is.
