I was on a cruise to the Panama Canal, over Christmas and brought over 100 gifts to give some of the crew. 80 were small boxes of candy (Hershey kisses and Sweet spot soft mints.) The rest were bigger useful gifts like over the door shoe organizers to use in their tiny (6’x6’ crew cabins for 2) One of the Engineering crew was by the elevator when I gave him a gift and he was so shocked, saying it was his only present, so I said he needed another one and gave him one of the big gifts. Everyone was so shocked and touched to get a present. Giving really is much better than receiving!
I go to church , my husband puts the turkey in the oven ,takes the dog for a walk! When I get back from church we open presents , we eat lunch then listen to the Kings speech ( used to be the Queen ) then we discuss his message and phone loved ones ! Then it’s pick at left overs and watch rubbish tv!

I especially loved watching Garrett grow. He reminded me of the time I got to spend with my first nephew born into our family. I babysat him every weekend when my sister and brother in law had date night. Now my nephew is graduating high school this year and of course I’m going to be a bragging aunt. Ethan took his S.A.T’s and only got 2 answers wrong. And I found out on Christmas day that he’s going to be validictorian for graduation. Where does the time go. My family does the same thing. We pass out all the presents then we take turns opening gifts. Normal we start with youngest and then go around but we normal only open one gift every time we go around. On Christmas Eve we always go to church and help out with passing out candles to the people that come in for the service. When I was a baby I was dedicated at the Christmas eve service 38 years ago. When my Grandma was alive we would have a family get together with my dads family. Then we would go to my grandma house for Christmas dinner. But with my job I have now if it is my day to work I have to work the holidays.
All throughout this video I felt like I was watching the 21st century version of The Waltons or a Little House on the Prairie Christmas episode. Very wholesome and picture perfect. It made me feel all warm and snuggly. 🥰

So I just wanted to say thank you so much for the time and effort your family has done throughout all of these wonderful years. My mom and I started watching you all seven years ago when I was 17 . We were thinking of moving to Alaska to help my mom out because she had a disease called Lupus and it made it to where she couldn't be out in the sun so when she heard of the months in Alaska with no sun she was intrigued. So we started looking on RUclips for people who live in Alaska to find out more information and that is where we found you all and instantly we fell in love with you all. Unfortunately my mom passed in December of 2021 of Cancer. But I still love watching your videos especially Vlog Miss so thank you again so much

Christmas is a really hard time for me, my dear sweet momma lost her ever so short battle with Edometrial Cancer and went to be with the Lord December 14th 2021. I know in my heart my saving grace is my son & his beautiful family. Normally I would spend time with my momma preparing, shopping and cooking for Christmas then the whole family would gather at her home for the day. Now I spend Christmas Eve day with my son and his family. And on Christmas day I stay home and walk down memory lane with my momma with old pictures. Thank You for including me in your family celebration... I like to say that I like that you don't give your children a zillion gifts or all the tech toys that so many other youtube families do...Your Christmas reminds me of yesteryear Christmas's with my momma... I want to thank you so much for reminding me that there was a time when our family was young with our pets waking the girls up to a wonderful memory. In the Navy, there were times it was just the four of us. So far away from family. But we have the same memories that you are making! The last few years have been rough on my family. Covid in 2021, court custody for my daughter to get our girl back home, and her realizing that even though bad things happen in our lives, we pick each other up and start all over again. This year was a rough one. I'm still recouping from a near-fatal death from Covid still partially paralyzed on one side. And we ended it with my husband falling and breaking his arm. Surgery after the Holidays. Yes we are exhausted, yes we are disappointed that we couldn't be near family again, and yes we are just sad missing the love ones we lost in 2022. But my family is stronger for it all! My husband and I celebrate our 50th this year and we are both celebrating landmark birthdays, 70 & 75. Thank you for letting us into your lives . when i was growing up, every christmas eve we gathered together and read lots and lots of christmas related stories, ending with "'twas the night before christmas", but when all that was finished, the final things were luke 2 and a prayer. in my late teens or possibly 20, and a brother probably early 20's, and another 7 yrs younger than me, we had a christmas party at our house. there we mid-teens to mid-20's at the party, + my young brother. before guests started leaving, though, everybody sat on the floor and we started reading those childhood stories, the 'night before christmas', and finally luke and a prayer to sort of end the party.

This has been a hard holiday season for me this year but I have to say every time I watch your videos I feel recharged and left with a smile on my face! I have a physical disability a live in a rehab facility. During this time of the year it’s hard trying not to compare my life to others which means watching family channels can be a little difficult. I usually have to take breaks from some channels but I never feel that way watching you guys! Thank you for all that you do to put out love, peace and kindness back out into our world! ❤️

I got my grandkids a karaoke machine for Christmas too! They love it! We go to a restaurant in our tiny town in Alabama and they sing karaoke there all the time! On Christmas Eve our kids and grandkids and great grandkids open presents after we eat dinner and then Christmas Day we have a big dinner at our house and everyone comes over the in-laws and whoever wants too come and we play dirty Santa! I had 30 ppl this year and I made 4 huge charcuterie boards and desserts and turkey, ham, chicken and cheese sandwiches on different breads! We had a blast! Just miss my oldest daughter that passed away on January 18th 2020 she was 37 and just became a grandma a month earlier! Now she has a second granddaughter! God bless your family!!!!

We actually had a real blizzard here in Buffalo NY travel bans no Christmas Eve or day with our families! Power outages so very cold!! Finally on December 30 we had a Christmas family get together,which my sons Birthday also! I spent that 4 days during the blizzard alone,wish I had a family like yours you would of had that together! Hubby and I growing up did a free for all opening. Hubby came up with our first Christmas taking turns and when we started to have children we took turns just like you do. We are seniors and do it this way as well with our fur babies. We watch the Nativity and have a buffet style table and then Christmas day we have son and his wife over for dinner. Olivia is so adorable

Christmas is a really hard time for me, my dear sweet momma lost her ever so short battle with Edometrial Cancer and went to be with the Lord December 14th 2021. I know in my heart my saving grace is my son & his beautiful family. Normally I would spend time with my momma preparing, shopping and cooking for Christmas then the whole family would gather at her home for the day. Now I spend Christmas Eve day with my son and his family. And on Christmas day I stay home and walk down memory lane with my momma with old pictures. Thank You for including me in your family celebration...
I like to say that I like that you don't give your children a zillion gifts or all the tech toys that so many other youtube families do...Your Christmas reminds me of yesteryear Christmas's with my momma...

I want to thank you so much for reminding me that there was a time when our family was young with our pets waking the girls up to a wonderful memory. In the Navy, there were times it was just the four of us. So far away from family. But we have the same memories that you are making! The last few years have been rough on my family. Covid in 2021, court custody for my daughter to get our girl back home, and her realizing that even though bad things happen in our lives, we pick each other up and start all over again. This year was a rough one. I'm still recouping from a near-fatal death from Covid still partially paralyzed on one side. And we ended it with my husband falling and breaking his arm. Surgery after the Holidays. Yes we are exhausted, yes we are disappointed that we couldn't be near family again, and yes we are just sad missing the love ones we lost in 2022. But my family is stronger for it all! My husband and I celebrate our 50th this year and we are both celebrating landmark birthdays, 70 & 75. Thank you for letting us into your lives

when i was growing up, every christmas eve we gathered together and read lots and lots of christmas related stories, ending with "'twas the night before christmas", but when all that was finished, the final things were luke 2 and a prayer.
in my late teens or possibly 20, and a brother probably early 20's, and another 7 yrs younger than me, we had a christmas party at our house. there we mid-teens to mid-20's at the party, + my young brother. before guests started leaving, though, everybody sat on the floor and we started reading those childhood stories, the 'night before christmas', and finally luke and a prayer to sort of end the party.

This has been a hard holiday season for me this year but I have to say every time I watch your videos I feel recharged and left with a smile on my face! I have a physical disability a live in a rehab facility. During this time of the year it’s hard trying not to compare my life to others which means watching family channels can be a little difficult. I usually have to take breaks from some channels but I never feel that way watching you guys! Thank you for all that you do to put out love, peace and kindness back out into our world! ❤️

I got my grandkids a karaoke machine for Christmas too! They love it! We go to a restaurant in our tiny town in Alabama and they sing karaoke there all the time! On Christmas Eve our kids and grandkids and great grandkids open presents after we eat dinner and then Christmas Day we have a big dinner at our house and everyone comes over the in-laws and whoever wants too come and we play dirty Santa! I had 30 ppl this year and I made 4 huge charcuterie boards and desserts and turkey, ham, chicken and cheese sandwiches on different breads! We had a blast! Just miss my oldest daughter that passed away on January 18th 2020 she was 37 and just became a grandma a month earlier! Now she has a second granddaughter! God bless your family!!!!

We actually had a real blizzard here in Buffalo NY travel bans no Christmas Eve or day with our families! Power outages so very cold!! Finally on December 30 we had a Christmas family get together,which my sons Birthday also! I spent that 4 days during the blizzard alone,wish I had a family like yours you would of had that together! Hoping for a blessed and happier New Year! So Sad!

Hubby and I growing up did a free for all opening. Hubby came up with our first Christmas taking turns and when we started to have children we took turns just like you do. We are seniors and do it this way as well with our fur babies. We watch the Nativity and have a buffet style table and then Christmas day we have son and his wife over for dinner. Olivia is so adorable
