As a dude who got back into Fallout4 this year, this is entirely accurate. 1st play through: general good guy who makes tough choices 2nd play through: sociopathic drug addict alcoholic with anger management issues intent on destroying everything and everyone with a sledgehammer or a baseball bat
Its a shame you cant really be the "bad guy: in Fo4, the Institute is the closest you really get and even then the Institute is more of a Mr. House kind of bad than the Legion kind of bad, I would of loved to see some sort of path with the Gunners be possible, hell maybe even a war between the resurrected Minutemen and Gunners.

in my main playthrough, I used to make runs to the Atomatoys HQ to get screws, and one time when I went the muties were all glitched. they were stuck on the floor T-posing, yet still alive. when killed, they have no items. it's hilarious to see the army of paralyzed Super Mutants screaming at me. I usually leave them alive, because it's not worth booping them lightly with a 6000 DAMAGE sledgehammer

when you do the danse quest, or are struggling for ammo at all, picking up weapons gives you a random amount of ammo thats "left in the mag" this gives you so much more ammo.
You can pick up guns that NPC's were using and gain the remaining ammo in their clips. Just a little fun tip there. Does not happen in any other fallout.

Ive tried so many times but only got one except the one with 100% success rate I think in the dlc
Getting it is also dependent on your luck stat, grape mentats can help if your luck stat isn't high.
