"Street Fighter" might be the least favorite, but I'd still watch it with You!👌The rest of those are all Great: especially "Universal Soldier" and "Hard Target!"👍 I'd also Love for You to check-out "Nowhere to Run" ('93) and "Replicant"🤞
I'd like to see Bloodsport - it's the movie that started JCVD's carreer, it's a genre defining martial arts movie and it had major impact on popculture in general (videogames,..).
She played Harley Quinn in the television series "Birds of Prey," which also starred Dina Meyer as Barbara Gordon/Oracle/nee Batgirl and Ashley Scott as Helena Kyle/Huntress, the daughter of Bruce Wayne/Batman and Selina Kyle/Catwoman.
@@lapolicedelapensee7047 Yeah. I also enjoyed, Hard Target, Bloodsport, Kickboxer... and... I know alot of people dont rate it but as a kid I watched Street Fighter so many times. He played twins in a couple of films and I always get them confused. What was the film when he plays an old man version of himself aswell?
Timecop is a hidden gem and I love it. It’s such a fun movie experience and Van Damme always kicks ass, plus who doesn’t love some good old time travel.
@DurkMcGerk Sudden Death is another solid Van Damme movie by the same Director as Timecop. These two movies were his only big-ish budget movies with high production value. I love his early stuff, but these two were first-run releases. Street Fighter had a big budget too, but was poorly executed.
If you loved 'Timecop', check out a US TV series called 'Time Trax'. Identical premise. Secialized cop division set up to travel through time pursuing multiple criminals who intend to settle in the past.
This movie is Van Damme’s highest grossing film breaking the box office more than $100 million. You should definitely watch Bloodsport (1988), Kickboxer (1989), Double Impact (1991), Universal Soldier (1992), and Hard Target (1993). Also, the jumping spinning kick aka the helicopter kick that he does is his signature move. He does it in almost every one of his films.
"What am I like 10 years from now?" "Just like now... only deader" LMAO, GET JENNED I love Jen's positive take on 90s action movies at the end; she was always someone you would love watching a movie with. Congrats for 300k subscribers, Jen! Watching your old videos has been a blast.

The coincidence is that there's a movie about a guy with a motorcycle that time traveled titled "Time Rider" and a series about a guy that didn't have a motorcycle so he was a "Time Walker"! 😅😂 There's versions of the classic "The Time Machine" but there is also "The Time Tunnel" and "The Time Train"! 😊
Jen! You have to react to Van Damme in "Hard Target" (1993) Dir by John Woo! It's over the top, bombastic and camp in the best way possible, you will love it. Great Bad guys in Arnold Vosloo (The Mummy) and Lance Henrikson (Aliens), plus Wilford Brimley in action mode!!! Keep up the good work!
Don't forget Yancy Butler (Witchblade) and Kasi Lemmons (The Silence of the Lambs). Hard Target is great. Also worth a look is Maximum Risk with Natasha Henstridge (Species).
Jen Murray! Hello there! 👋 He played himself in an "NBC" series set in Las Vegas, Nevada. He died! That series is a crossover hub with other "NBC" series. Poobala calls that shared universe, "The Jean-Claude Van Damme is Dead Universe"! 😂😅 Why? Because if he is dead in that show, then he is also dead in the others! Any other roles he had since that episode was made, would have to have a different person! 😮
Great reaction Jen! And I like how you say to just enjoy the movie for what it is, good advice. Time Cop is one of my favorite JCVD flicks, and another one you will enjoy is "Double Impact". Which is my favorite of his films. All I will tell you about the movie is it has plenty of action, kicks and splits, lol! I always love watching your fun reactions! Thank you 🎥❤️🍿
Another underappreciated gem of a movie from the 1990s is Strange Days. It was directed by Kathyrn Bigelow (Point Break, The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty), written by James Cameron (Aliens, Terminator (1 & 2), True Lies, Titanic, Avatar) and starred Ralph Finnes and Angela Bassett.

The muscles from Brussels! JCVD was such an icon in the late 80s/90s. Not the best of the big action stars, but he's handsome, charming, and flexible AF. Definitely check out Hard Target, which pairs him with director John Woo, Bloodsport, and Street Fighter (it's so dumb but you'll love it).
One of my earliest memories was watching this with my parents and older brothers in the living room. I was 4 or 5. When the love scene started my mom told me to go behind the couch and not look. But I snuck a peak anyway 😂. I always loved the action in this as well as Universal Soldier. Led to watching JCVD’s older stuff like Bloodsport and Kickboxer.
Hey great choice for a sci fi time travel movie! Cheesy van dame is always a good choice! Jumping around thru time does leave you a bit unsure who's who! Lol It was fun to se you get all giddy for explosions 😅 but i get it! Best part is when the same persons from different times touch each other and turn to mush! Perfect! Great reaction Jen thanks for sharing! Luv ya❤️💛
Every time I see this one, I just get weirded out that Farris Bueller's girlfriend Sloane is sleeping with Jean Claude Van Damme... and the big warning about time travel is "don't touch yourself or things will get messy." 🤔

Melissa, Jean-Claude van Damme's wife in this movie, is played by Mia Sara, the same actress who played Ferris Bueller's girlfriend.

Definitely check out Hard Target, which pairs him with director John Woo, Bloodsport, and Street Fighter (it's so dumb but you'll love it).
Hard Target . More explosions than you can count and an epic mullet.
OMG! I haven't seen this in years. It's very cheesey but it's like a car wreck on the highway, you can't look away. LOL
My all-time favourite *Jean-Claude Van Damme* movies, that I would recommend (in release order) are:
*1.* _'Bloodsport'_ (1988).
*2.* _'Kickboxer'_ (1989).
*3.* _'Double Impact'_ (1991).
*4.* _'Universal Soldier'_ (1992).
*5.* _'Hard Target'_ (1993).
*6.* _'Timecop'_ (1994) *- Already watched!*
*7.* _'Street Fighter'_ (1994) *- Guilty pleasure!*
*8.* _'Universal Soldier: The Return'_ (1999) *- Guilty pleasure!*
*9.* _'Universal Soldier: Regeneration'_ (2009).
*10.* _'Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning'_ (2012).
Anything of his that’s more recent, I’ve not seen. 🤷🏻♀️
Love, as always, from England (UK) 🥰❤️
One of my earliest memories was watching this with my parents and older brothers in the living room. I was 4 or 5. When the love scene started my mom told me to go behind the couch and not look. But I snuck a peak anyway 😂. I always loved the action in this as well as Universal Soldier. Led to watching JCVD’s older stuff like Bloodsport and Kickboxer.
Cyborg with JVCD is nice if you like movies with dystopian settings, kinda like Mad Max but in a smaller world scale.
I am so glad you watched this. Hope you continue down the rabbit hole of 90s action movies.
Luv ya❤️💛
JCVD also did a guest appearance on a Friends episode! 🙂👍
I remember liking this more than the critics did, so I'm eager to revisit it with you!
Love that your watching some older movies please keep it up
Every time I see this one, I just get weirded out that Farris Bueller's girlfriend Sloane is sleeping with Jean Claude Van Damme... and the big warning about time travel is "don't touch yourself or things will get messy." 🤔
