Awesome! My grandparents raised their sons at 2685 University Ave and lived there until she died in '79. Many memories there. Glad to see it looks better than in the 60s and 70s! Now my wife understands why traffic lights drive me crazy!!!! Thank you for posting this!! 🙂

Are you familiar with the projects on University Ave. near the Washington Bridge? My grandparents and my aunt and uncle lived there in the sixties. I’m trying to find a photo (that’s how I ended up here), but I haven’t found anything, yet. I’m wondering if they’ve been torn down.

I believe my aunt still lives around there. I used to come there with my father to visit her and her son (he has a family of his own now and lives somewhere upstate). I haven't been around there or much of that area in a couple of years.
