Everyone should just play barb blizzards only class they buff to absolute sht and make every other class absolutely lack lustre.
Give barbs 4 weapons.
4 extra aspects
Make all the weapon stats stack let them use multiple Ubers easily..
Yet every other class can barely scrape 1 build together to clear content…
Shadow necro nerf
Sorc has to use infinite flame shield else they get nuked.
Druids are dog Shhh unless they have some gimmik build and still are the lowest tier.
Rogues are okay but still only like 1 or 2 builds.

Everyone should just roll barb and give up on every other class because blizzard only cares about about barbs should just call it diabarbarians 4…

You’re actually right .. he literally abuses every double dip broken mechanic in the game to his advantage and the minute someone does more than him or something that he doesn’t like does something un expected it’s like everything breaks loose . Even with sorc it’s broken watching his buddy Mecuna hit 800 bil and he’s not making any big beef about it . He’s an elitist a hypocrite and a guy who plays Diablo 10 hours a day and thinks his shit doesn’t stink . His Ego is bigger than his nose .

Druid is the worst class it can barley clear pit 130s and its only doing a lot of damage because of a bug but they should leave it since barbs and sorcs are doing billions of a damage by double dipping.
Even less build diversity... they need to add temper buckets for core skills (not offensive but weapons) so core skills can run crit dmg and something else useful like you can with bash or dust devils. Eg HotA size incr, HotA dmg, HotA cost reduction etc. Would also be a way to add some nice popping effects like we see in PoE. Eg HotA kills explode dealing x% dmg
Yeah its a huge issue on rogues where the weapon tempers are all catered to ranged skills and there's nothing for the melee skills..
They need to nerf basic attacks buffs: aspect of the moonrise and aspect of adaptability, new unique sword Shard of Verathiel. These have too high numbers.

I was stoked to try S5 ptr but after everything I've seen so far, I'm good. I'd rather go listen to Preston tell me about how another settlement needs my help...
Hitting for 1 billion with death blow is not underperforming dude. You kill me with this crap when other classes outside of “Bugs” can’t hit for 1 billion on any build smh.
Its also frustrating seeing more tornados coming from WW than ....the tornado druid build. Like Come tf on.....Barb needs heavy nerfs
Notice how he doesn't have his usual shit eating grin? Because everything on the barb is doing worse than s4 and all the mega buff bugs are on other classes right now.
He did 1b hit on occasion. Most of the hits were about 200-300m. Mekuna7 did 20b stable.

I don't see why bash barb had to get stealth nerfed into the dirt. Even with the affixes as they are now, I am barely getting in the mid millions for damage. Maybe I am blind, but I do not recall that being apart of the PTR patch notes. This just feels like 1.1 nerfs all over again.
Literally only a few possible builds to play on the Barbarian, nerfing it is just reducing the diversity that we have or agency over what skills we actually use. We should in theory be able to use any of the basic skills and come up with something that is at least viable. Every core skill, every basic skill, and with a few item tweaks with the new season even mastery skills should be usable in some fashion... Of course there will be a clear winner but there shouldn't just be one good build on a pile of trash am I right ?
@msi1985 I'm not contesting that everything should be at least viable and playable. I think the bigger issue is they didn't tell us the nerf was coming and we had to found out after the testers found out the hard way. If they are going to nerf us, just be transparent about it.
Watch Rob new video about bash barb. He did 1b damage per crit.

i played it for a couple hours and everything is bugged, uniques are not working, bosses are bugged, i cant open the big chest in the arena mode. pit is still 2 floors and you have to run back and kill every mob. did they even test it one time?
attack speed whirlwind looks amazing. Going to be even harder to fit all the stats we need on our items.

My question is, what is the point of death blow reseting its CD if it costs fury instead of having a CD? Do kills refund the fury cost instead, or is that whole mechanic where death blow rewards you for killing stuff just gone?

got the barb amlet on gregoire and got the sword on blood madien. If you are playing bash barb with the sword then you will probably need 1 roll at least for fury per second if not it just going to suck.
We still nee a well performing Frenzy Build. Hopefulyy with the new uniques and apects it will be possible

If the big up'd the rewards for the new activity it would be more worth it. It should have the potential to drop ubers as well

Thankfully they did learn to do PTRs. You’d think that’d be from the get go but PTR is vital for a good game like Diablo. You blasters make it better even for dad casuals like me.

I hope all classes are equally balanced. All super strong. End game this looks more side game. We need something like BTB 8 players. In a certain part of the map. High difficulty and high rewards. Dense like D3 full of mobs. Bosses all over. Use exp bonus from D3 only in the map section you play in.
I just really can't comprehend what goes through their minds..why would they even release a new game mode that takes 30min with such crap rewards??? I wouldn't do that if it took 1 minute. Just ridiculous

Can someone tell me please, how can I put marksman critical strike damage on barb? I created new rogue, spend half of the day to get his marksman finesse which can give crit damage, but I still can’t put it on my barb. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to get it again, put to stash, and activate it with my barb, or how?

I do like the story behind the theme for the season. I expected a valient last stand against the infernal horde, but instead found the hells to be more empty than Sanctuary.
You get more density and better rewards for doing Helltides compared to the new Infernal Horde event. Especially considering you have to farm and upgrade the event it should be at least twice or more as rewarding compared to killing infernal maiden in helltides.
I want to battle the horde of enemies Inarius and the church of light army fought or similar threat. I would suggest you change the event to never ending stream of enemies that either upgrade by kill count or increasing at set times (starting with small demons upgrading to larger ones, champions, elites, bosses etc). Make it tiers of difficulty how long you have to survive the infernal horde l. Tier 3 example survive 5 minutes with the difficulty of mobs ramping as time progresses in intervals (every 30 seconds or so ) tier 8 being surviving for 10 minutes before fighting council. Base rewards on time survived, hardcore characters would have to choose their tiers wisely.
You could still do banes and boons, attack a mass, fill a soul well, or destroy an alter etc to modify waves or give bane and boon but I believe would be better while in combat. You could give mini objectives during the wave if you fail it then you get a bane otherwise you get a Boon if you succeed.
I also like the idea of being cast out of hell after defeating the council by a prime evil something or by the council itself and being left with a reward. Not sure how the portal to escape makes sense otherwise.
I believe a true survival mode would be really engaging, with truly endless waves to a time. Keeping the highest survival time around 10 minutes then plan for a 2-5 minute council fight depending on your character’s gear/progression.

@@johnathonbrooks1927 You need to consider what is actually possible for non streamers or rmt traders. Literally nobody except those could get much past 110ish with the one sorc build that was strong because the astronomical gear requirements to even make it work required trading off all of the damage, or spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars. And even that outlier has been completely removed from the game in s5. Not nerfed, removed.

Need season 6 to be Druid buff season other than that new builds for rogue have some diversity since they are getting buffed is good to see. I will say odd for them not to mention some of the Temper changes in notes. Also what kind of powers are we going to gain from dlc is also a question. Also how in the world do they keep letting this double damage buckets keep getting into the game.

It’s a consumable that upgrades the Compass tier by 1 (the compass is the key for the new S5 activity)

i like to know too, and where it drops so i can try it out. PTR shouldve just allowed everyone to buy from merchant to test the items
Bash is still good but to hit hard you have to use the new unique knife that allow you to hit up to 300× damage, but it drains your fury. To counter this on you jewelry put basic resources regen and you'll be good.
And if you don't get this Uber it's useless, so it's useless for the vast majority.

“Barb bash has been gutted”… no they just somewhat scaled it to other classes, Barb doing hundreds millions of DMG should not be a thing when the rest are struggling to hit 10 mil. Barb players saying just buff all the other classes and I agree to some extent but u don’t expect the devs to focus on buffing other classes by X amount when only 1 class outperforms the rest (yes the classes needs a rework but so does barb). Like in other games when a certain class or a gun in an FPS outperforms everything in the game to they buff the rest to scale up? No they tune the numbers so it’ll scale to the rest, The only reason barb is untouched is because the player base won’t let it all barb players are highly against nerfs and can you blame blizzard when barb is the most played class with the best cosmetics in the shop. On one side you have the barb community that generates the most money with all the cool new skins the keep releasing and most played class and on the other side the rest

Bash is not done. It only lost 20% dm as long as you use the shared weapon. If you use more stuff then it will probably do BETTER than before.

@@Lonewanderer30 I can’t remember what it is called but it has +100-300% basic skill dm but your basic skills now cost 25 resource.
@@FF7fan384 The trouble is, when a build relies on specific uniques to be feasible, it’s pretty much worthless. For example, I went the entire original release period and some time since in the eternal realm without a single razor plate dropping. Blizzard haven’t a clue.
People need too chill it’s a PTR for a reason they have a concept let people play it then adjust before the season drops…

Why Nerf builds like bash but leave WW and or buff WW more? If they want us to be able to play our way they need to be able to leave more than one build available for people to use.
bash is hitting for 4 billion on ptr, it's possibly even stronger than before with the new uniques
@@candymcnibblepants The problem is for a ridiculous number of people, these uniques will not drop, they can’t even get one of them, let alone 3, courtesy of Blizzards completely broken RNG system. Making their Bash build useless in the Eternal Realm, let alone in S5.
@rob2628 - this PTR is soooo broken and the seasonal mechanic is soooo stupid; you need to advocate for PTR S5.2 - a second PTR is needed sometime in July

they are changing stuff up way to much and to many bugs i mean the game is fun if you rember every bug in the game then you can make a good build but as a casual and just playing you end up with some underwelming build
