I was thinking Zir vs Varshan to check if there is a difference between the "regular" tormented bosses and Zir. Any suggestions?
Increase the amount of runs you do on the next video. Minimum 50 each. I clicked off because your sample size is so low it’s really not going to be conclusive of anything. Like the concept tho
@@fpsocelot Good suggestion, and I would do it if I had the time and resources. I suggest looking for a bigger channel where the creator gets hundreds of free Stygian Stones for that kind of sample size.
Literally can't get an Uber to drop anywhere from anything. Also my last 7 masterworks at 12 all landed on the only affix I didn't want. That and only getting 3 stygian stones in 3 days of running 101+ pits are among the reasons that I won't be playing the game past the upcoming PTR. Seriously? I mean, seriously, Blizzard?
Pro tip:
Join a clan, get a group to compile all stygians and fight together. For every 2 stygian stone, 4 players get a chance.
If more players join, the more attempts you get. Clans is your best bet.
I swear odds are random lol, i got like 20 stones in a few hours running lvl 60s but only had 2 uber drops all season with the four guys I created this season.

I got 22 stones in 2 days running pit 70 to 90 you must have some bad luck
They need to let console players be able to select the gear to pick up like PC players
Agreed its annoying i play on Xbox and having to grab everything just for the 1 or 2 items i actually wanted is stupid.
This is upsetting. I have gone through 200 Stygian (100 Uber runs) and had 1 mythic drop (doombringer). So tired of my rng failures making up for other rng “massive luck”
Rota farming in discord. I have had less than 20 stones and have gotten, t might, gf, 2 spears, 2 rings of starless, shako and Andy's Visage. But I guess I also got blessed with rng this season

Best way to farm Ubers, make a barb, do the season campaign, an uber boss, and lilith if you can. Then make 1-2 alts and get Grandfather.
Make a barb alt, season campaign. Rinse and repeat 4 tines per however many ubers you want.
Grand father makes leveling barb alts (maybe Necro alts too) signifigsntly more fun.
We start doing that with a friend and now we are so burn out, leveling a char takes some time and getting full rep also takes a lot of time doesn't matter what build or how strong you are you are limited for the xp rewarded at helltide. We actually like you use barbs, we didn't level glyphs all way up, just go straight for helltide and wolf reputation, after 4 new characters you want to kill yourself with a banana.
Wdym Grandfather makes leveling fun? Isnt it req lvl 90 to use?

First zir run out of 2 I did I got a starless skies. First time ever killing him. Next day ran zir 5 times and on run 3 got another Uber. Duriel I have ran probably 60 times this season and got 0 Ubers. It will be very hard to convince me he isn't dropping better. Not to mention he drops enough stuff to fill my inventory about 90% full. I think more drops will give you more chances for the good drop you want.
Same happened to me,killed tormented duriel 70+times and zero Ubers,killed lord zir 10times got 3ubers,and also got 3 Ubers from regular duriel in 100kills
I got grandfather from my very first zir run 3 weeks ago and yesterday I just decided to do 1 tormented duriel for fun and it didn't disappoint... I got 2 Ubers from 1 duriel😮
He dropped me a ring of starless skies as well on my 4th run. I’m convinced as well. I’ve done Duriel runs maybe 50+ times and never gotten anything of value just the same uniques over and over.
My sample size is pretty small but I've gotten 3 Ubers this season. 1 from reg grig, and 2 from zir in 10 runs. Prior to that I'd been running duriel and hadn't got anything all season.

Is this unusually lucky or is my luck just terrible? I’m coming up to 40 Uber kills now, mostly Andarial and Durial and I haven’t had a single Uber unique drop. You just got 4 in half my attempts, I’m beginning to think my games bugged. You averaged 1 in 6, I haven’t got 1 in 40?
I think zir better because u can also farm ordinary duriel without stones and get more uberuniques. Uber zir +ordinary duriel best combo imho. Drop is rng
Not exactly easy having a boatload of shards when you have been busy maxing out your glyphs and climbing the pits
@@Electrichead64max glyphs are insanely easy to do? Just run level 100 sigils and you can have all your glyphs that you need maxed out in a couple of hours? 😂
Pits take longer obviously bc they are meant to be a season long endgame content grind....
Regardless, you have plenty of time to kill either boss and farm Ubers. 😂
@@Corey-t1m It takes longer than that. I mean ALL glyphs. All of them. Not just the 5 or so that I am currently using. ALL of them. Never know when I want to change my board.
I have killed Torm Duriel over 100 times and got 1x Uber(mythic). Under 20 kills of Torm Zir and Torm Varsh i got three Ubers (mythic). Way better drop rate at least for me to fo Varsh or Zir on Torm version.
The GA story its just bs, those items drop everywhere and 99% of the time suck, the mythic uniques its true actually i have a friend who have the worst luck in the universe he is even registered at Guinness Records and even him get some Mythic Uniques.
What everyone forgets is that Zir dropps more rings and Amulets. Amulets are worth way more. The uniqued of Zir are used way more. Let alone from barb perspective , you have rage and razorplate used by the 2 best barb push builds. And thats only for the barb.
So personally , duriel is a waste of time.

@@SliverOfTime 3.5 is awesome dude! I’ve been playing in a band for over 20 years and have never had a following like that. But when I see guys like Rob2378 have 87 Uber uniques in their inventory, it does get frustrating.

I've got 15 Uber uniques trying to get greater, solo tormented runs have been great. Uber never dropped one in the open world though. Big streamers farm a lot, I don't farm a lot, just luck sometimes @@spagzs
Ive ran about 25 regular Duriel and got 3 ubers. Im gonna try tormented Zir though cuz i have a ton of Blood, hoping for the Gran'daddy.
i did a 40 kill 10 rota, i got 3 ubers personally group total was at least 7, not everyone was reporting drops.
I guess the RNG is crazy, I did 4 Duriel rotations (16 runs) and got 1 Shako, did 4 SOLO Zir and got 1 Tyrael’s Might and 1 Selig. Beginning to think that soloing is better, of course it has nothing to do with it but idk, just wild luck I guess.
I think it’s a possibility that solo play has a more frequent Uber drop rate than in group settings.I seem to do alot better by myself than with friends.
Did like 5 zirs solo... and didnt get any uber.
Did Zir solo about 5 times with my ice shard sorc. Was tough but was able to do it. Unfortunately didnt get any ubers. :(
i did 40 tormented duriels and got nothing. then while farming for more mats i did a normal grigoire and dropped shako. guess i used up all my pent up rng luck on that!
i cant clear pit 53+ why i have 130k attack power 13kcdefense 33k hp

Good to know. So he doesn’t actually drop better items it was all confirmation bias. Good to see he has the same rate as a more time consuming boss.
I'd add that these 12 runs of each boss are few to draw hard conclusions, but yes, this is what the tendency looks to be. Even if the two bosses have the same or similar drop rates, I'd give the advantage to Zir for being more easily farmable.
All I can say is I've run Tormented Zir half as much as Tormented Duriel. I have never received a single Uber from tormented Duriel. Or Andariel for that matter. I have now received 5 from Zir.

I did zir after the patch....there is more uber drops....i have 1 stash full of uber and 30% came from zir tbh ...and i have done all content.....just do zir and mix around with duriel and andy...ps: i got atleast a single uber from all 6 uber

this aint no proper sampling. Do x20 tormented rotas about five times on each Boss and then make excel sheet with personal uber drops and group uber drops. That might be closer to drawin conclusions my dude

@@SliverOfTime i have concluded for myself by doin x60 tormented rota daily on each boss for a week and a spreadsheet of what i suggested. Happened to be Varshan in my case for personal uber drops, Zir for group drops and Duriel for 2ga Shako on health and cooldwn and 2ga tyraels on max res and dmg red and the craziest ever in 1 kill Shako+GF , so overall i fck with Duriel the most.
When the Zir rumour started, I wasted 20 Stygian on 10 x Tormented Zir for 0 mythic uniques yet done 2 Tormented Andarial straight after & got a Shako first go & a Doombringer on the second. Again more clickbait rubbish put out by Rob2826 (same way as petting the kitty crap) to get people wasting their time & resources in hope that it works for some to back up his lies. Its all RNG regardless yet there will be some that just follow clickbait stuff hat Rob puts out as gospel because he plays so much.
This season I have had 5 mythic drops in total; Shako from Pit 60, Doombringer from NMD45, Shako, Doombringer & Tyreals Might from Andarial. The pit Shako dropped next run after I had just wasted 4 Sparks crafting one 😮

Apparently if you salvage your crafted Uber Unique you get the 4 sparks back. Can anyone confirm this??
I kill duriel 10 and i have 1 Uber, but zird i kill him 7 and he drop me 4 Uber
