2009 Was the best , Kobe in his full prime, was more smart, more skilled than 03/06/07/08. Still great athleticism. By far better post game. Better defender than 07. But he had what no other year Kobe had before. The hunger, the will to win no matter what, that 09 he became a true leader. After that 08 loss to the Celtics. He wasn’t gonna lose, he was determined to do whatever it takes to win. The Celtics shake the tree and the mamba fell off. No other player in nba history, no team , would’ve beat. After 2011 the injuries began, and that’s were he was nearing tbt end of his prime. But he was still avg 28ppg In 2012. And was still leading the league in points in 12/13. Plus from 2010-2013 no one had more +40pts games and +30pts game than Kobe. In 2013 he tore the achilles and that when he lost his entire athleticism. From 03/2011 he was undoubtedly the best player in the world, from 11-13 it was always a debate on who was better Kobe or Lebron. In 2013 Lebron became the best in the world
