I watched live and started sobbing during "Home Sweet Home"... Every VIP felt that intense emotion caused by overwhelming joy and I feel like my teenage self who found them all those years ago was comforted by seeing them on stage again. We are all adults now and are all aware that BIGBANG won't ever be the same as they were pre-2017. But when they do come back, we'll always be there to cheer for them. GD's speech (referencing his 2014 MAMA Diss) and thanking VIPs who lit up the stadium with their BIGBANG Bong's made me so happy. Just seeing them that happy is so fulfilling...

I didn't know they'd released Home Sweet Home, or that any of them would be at MAMA, so when it popped up on my RUclips I was really surprised, and I thought it would just be GD. So my first time hearing Home Sweet Home was it live like this, and I was so shocked when I saw Taeyang and Daesung

I suddenly got the urge to tell my story on how I fell in love with K-pop since watching this video. So here it is. I hope you read it and don't cringe too hard, lol. It was just a huge awakening for me because music is my greatest love and I suddenly realized just how special K-pop is to me now while watching this video. Enjoy the novel. So you know, I'm very new to K-pop. I JUST started listening to it full blast when Blackpink headlined Coachella. I always heard the name Blackpink and I saw that they were headlining Coachella and it was all airing live on RUclips for 2 weekends so I said to myself, "you know what I'm going to watch this and see how it is". I absolutely fell in love. I fell in love with Rose immediately, she became my bias instantly, and then Blackpink as a whole. Then I watched the next weekend after as well. I loved it. I listened to only them for a while because they were all I knew about K-pop. They were the only K-pop artist on my now called, "ASIAN EARGASM" playlist. LOL. (It's called that because it isn't just K-pop on that playlist. There are Japanese bands and singers, etc on there too) Then I slowly started adding new groups and solo Idols/Artists to my lineup like (G)I-dle, IVE, Yena, Bibi, etc. Then Blackpink went on their "year solo endeavors" so I started branching out even more. But eventually I listened to (G)I-dle. I watched the music video for Wife and my mind was blown. Then they became my favorite K-pop group of all time! I fell in love instantly and I LOOOOOOOVE Queen Soyeon!!!! My #1 bias! (I'm in love with her LOL) I'll be honest, I haven't found many of the boy K-pop groups that I like though... I do like some of the solo Idols like Jung Kook. His solo album is awesome. Jimin's solo album is good. TXT has a couple songs that are ok. I wasn't sure about GD when I first heard him, but I think he's starting to grow on me now, so I'm going to give him a listen. Same with Big Bang. These songs they did on the MAMA awards were really good! I used to only listen to mainly Metal and Hard Rock. Some Pop too. I also got into Reggaeton because I watched the Selena show and fell in love with her and her music, and then Becky G, etc. Then K-pop came... BUT the main thing I just realized about K-pop while watching your video though... Is that I have never felt as much emotion listening to any other genre of music than I do with K-pop. I mean I only listened to GD and Big Bang when I watched this MAMA awards... When I watched your reaction though, I could obviously see you were so happy, dancing around, you were getting emotional, and all that. Which in turn made ME emotional as well. I caught myself tearing up and smiling nonstop just from watching you two enjoying something from K-pop that you really love. Even THAT getting me emotional shows you that K-pop is just special. Again, I don't get as emotional with any other genre. It's crazy. From the music, the variety shows, the behind the scenes, etc. It all just makes me so happy. I'm always feeling every emotion possible while watching anything to do with K-pop or even K Dramas! I started watching those too... And I'm LOVING them! I even started trying to make some of the food that groups eat in their videos because it looks so good, lol. Plus with K-pop there is ALWAYS new stuff coming out! I'm also loving that about it too. There is so much and nonstop content! I honestly feel like K-pop saved my life. It came at a time when I was feeling very depressed and lonely and hating life. Ever since I found it I haven't really thought those things as much. I mean it would be nice to have someone to enjoy all of this with, but still, I think it came into my life when I really needed it. Anyway, if you read all of this THANK YOU! I really appreciate you taking time out of your life to read it. I just felt the urge to tell you that K-pop has become so special to me now and all the emotions it brings. Oh and of course I love watching your videos. They always make my day. Thank you.

I suddenly got the urge to tell my story on how I fell in love with K-pop since watching this video. So here it is. I hope you read it and don't cringe too hard, lol. It was just a huge awakening for me because music is my greatest love and I suddenly realized just how special K-pop is to me now while watching this video. Enjoy the novel.
So you know, I'm very new to K-pop. I JUST started listening to it full blast when Blackpink headlined Coachella. I always heard the name Blackpink and I saw that they were headlining Coachella and it was all airing live on RUclips for 2 weekends so I said to myself, "you know what I'm going to watch this and see how it is". I absolutely fell in love. I fell in love with Rose immediately, she became my bias instantly, and then Blackpink as a whole. Then I watched the next weekend after as well. I loved it.
I listened to only them for a while because they were all I knew about K-pop. They were the only K-pop artist on my now called, "ASIAN EARGASM" playlist. LOL. (It's called that because it isn't just K-pop on that playlist. There are Japanese bands and singers, etc on there too) Then I slowly started adding new groups and solo Idols/Artists to my lineup like (G)I-dle, IVE, Yena, Bibi, etc. Then Blackpink went on their "year solo endeavors" so I started branching out even more.
But eventually I listened to (G)I-dle. I watched the music video for Wife and my mind was blown. Then they became my favorite K-pop group of all time! I fell in love instantly and I LOOOOOOOVE Queen Soyeon!!!! My #1 bias! (I'm in love with her LOL)
I'll be honest, I haven't found many of the boy K-pop groups that I like though... I do like some of the solo Idols like Jung Kook. His solo album is awesome. Jimin's solo album is good. TXT has a couple songs that are ok. I wasn't sure about GD when I first heard him, but I think he's starting to grow on me now, so I'm going to give him a listen. Same with Big Bang. These songs they did on the MAMA awards were really good!
I used to only listen to mainly Metal and Hard Rock. Some Pop too. I also got into Reggaeton because I watched the Selena show and fell in love with her and her music, and then Becky G, etc. Then K-pop came... BUT the main thing I just realized about K-pop while watching your video though... Is that I have never felt as much emotion listening to any other genre of music than I do with K-pop. I mean I only listened to GD and Big Bang when I watched this MAMA awards... When I watched your reaction though, I could obviously see you were so happy, dancing around, you were getting emotional, and all that. Which in turn made ME emotional as well. I caught myself tearing up and smiling nonstop just from watching you two enjoying something from K-pop that you really love. Even THAT getting me emotional shows you that K-pop is just special.
Again, I don't get as emotional with any other genre. It's crazy. From the music, the variety shows, the behind the scenes, etc. It all just makes me so happy. I'm always feeling every emotion possible while watching anything to do with K-pop or even K Dramas! I started watching those too... And I'm LOVING them! I even started trying to make some of the food that groups eat in their videos because it looks so good, lol.
Plus with K-pop there is ALWAYS new stuff coming out! I'm also loving that about it too. There is so much and nonstop content!
I honestly feel like K-pop saved my life. It came at a time when I was feeling very depressed and lonely and hating life. Ever since I found it I haven't really thought those things as much. I mean it would be nice to have someone to enjoy all of this with, but still, I think it came into my life when I really needed it.
Anyway, if you read all of this THANK YOU! I really appreciate you taking time out of your life to read it. I just felt the urge to tell you that K-pop has become so special to me now and all the emotions it brings. Oh and of course I love watching your videos. They always make my day. Thank you.
