You should NEVER separate these two great tracks!
Here here! ;)
Tell that to the classic rock stations...
Agreed
Damn right!!! 👍🤘🏽
EXACTLY!!!
One does not simply listen to Bringin on the Heartbreak without going straight into Switch 625
Exactly!!
Both great songs. DL introduced me to Rock, I'm forever hooked.
I agree 100% but try telling that to a radio station.
Switch 625 has to be one of the best rock songs of all time. It does not even need words.
Its epic and heavy rhythm is unmatched in this era of Rock and Roll.... This band is the Bar
Switch 625 makes me want to drive my car FAST!! 😃
"AH!! AH!! AA-aah!!"
Rock and roll/ Heavy Metal makes me drive fast.....especially in a V8 muscle car!
A Corvette while sporting a mullet?😂😂😂
Bringing on the Heartbreak is an all time classic hard rock ballad, but you gotta have Switch 625 included or it’s just incomplete…
Also, have to say RIP Steve Clark, he’s been tragically gone a long time but his huge contributions to this incredible classic hard rock album will never be forgotten.
I agree I gladly didn't even know they were two different songs
Switch is a lasting testament to what a legend Steve was.
Love this song. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
RIP Steve Clark
He knew the fine line between Genius and madman, and fuckin made it work. We miss you Steve, Rest In Peace!
Love the seamless transition between these 2 completely different songs and they do this live as well
They go together like peanut butter and jelly. :)
@@CideEffexOriginal "PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!! PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!!"
Okay, I'll stop.
I saw this to her when I was stationed in England and Oxford awesome awesome show
I was trying to say tour and I was very close like second or third row from the front of the stage Elliott where is British flag t-shirt
The mix between these two songs are just AMAZING together.
They way it’s supposed to be.
*The
@@bobthebear1246pretty sure thats a typo, but thanks for being THAT guy.
I love Hysteria but the first 3 Def Leppard albums are my favorite. A little more raw and wild.
Three things I’ve learned from geniuses on RUclips.
1-Don’t separate these songs.
2-Don’t separate Heartbreaker/Livin Loving Maid
3-Lars Sucks
Thanks for the wisdom. Don’t think I could have made it without you.
Kirk is a bit of a tool, too. But Lars, no question.
Feelin' That Way and Anytime by Journey. Always played together!!
Cracked me up watching the season finale of Cobra Kai. They actually played Switch 625 without Bringin on the Heartbreak. I'm so used to yelling at anyone who plays Bringin on the Heartbreak without Switch 625 that it seemed strange.
No shit, huh?
That riff in Switch 625 is almost metal. What a jam!🤘
When I hear Bringin' on the Heatbreak end, I'm waiting for Switch 625 to kick in, so when it's not there, I feel disappointed. Thanks for posting!
Joeomalley, you would be correct! 😃👍🏼
I get so frustrated when I hear "Bringing on the Heartbreak" on the radio, and they don't follow it up with "Switch 625". It's messed up. When they play Van Halen's "Eruption" on the radio, they ALWAYS follow it with "You Really Got Me."
Switch 625 ALWAYS follows Bringing on he Heartbreak!
It's called a clueless DJ. Lol Your comment is well said. -_-
Exactly!
Also Queen "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions".
I absolutely agree. Pisses me off when they don’t play switch 625. It’s like playing heartbreaker by Led Zeppelin without livin lovin maid. You just don’t do it.
or the entire album, for that matter...
This is the original version of 'Bringing On The Heartbreak' that I remember and takes me back. Damn radio edit . Lol 😆
I finally found the full version. Phenomenal
Only once have I ever heard Switch played after Heartbreak on the radio. Now I can’t listen without it.
Please take me back to the 80's!
God, I miss Steve Clark.
The local rock station would always play these two songs back to back. First I tried to sing like Joe Elliott then I air guitar Pete Willis and Steve Clark's duel solos. 🤘🤘
Just one of so many badass British bands that filled my ears as a teen and will continue until I'm dust! I mean, after the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, The Who, Iron effing Maiden etc, you might think they were spent, but no, the Brits just kept birthing these epic bands like Def Leppard that know how to fuckin' rock! Bravo, Brits! Absolutely fuckin' Bravo!
Thumbs up for including Switch 625!
I will never understand why radio skips this when they play heartbreak, the 2 should always go together. friggin radio formatting sucks
I really hate when they do that to these two songs. Just like Queens We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions should always be played together too. They are just classic ❤️❤️
“Bringin On The Heartache/ Switch 625”-Def Leppard
“We Will Rock You/ We Are The Champions”- Queen
“Feelin That Way/ Anytime”- Journey
The Holy Trinity of Songs That MUST ALWAYS Be Played Together.
Just like Moving in Stereo and All Mixed Up
Yes agree, both of these tracks are a marriage. Brilliant.
Weirdly - I heard Switch 625 on a Jukebox whilst getting knackered first. I thought it was Brilliant alone. Then I bought the album and realized that it’s sort of a bridge in the album. Bloody Genius!
Switch 625 has been a dear part of my life since 1983! 🥰
It's not a song boob
As it was meant to be!
Last time I heard these two Songs together was When the Seahawks Beat Denver like a rag doll at the super bowl. Good Memories
Great hearing the whole 7 plus minutes of these 2 fantastic songs!!
I remember hearing hearing this song on the radio when radio was good. My local classic rack station KBOY would play both heartache and switch merged together. I was 10 years old at the time in 1991. Sadly they don't play this song anymore on current CR stations. It's sad.
They always played this on radio in early 80s in Portland. This is best Def Leppard song by bar- rich meaty power chords- WOW- extended bitchin jam session solo to just blow away listener
Good to know im not alone- Do not separate these two tracks! I hated it when i heard bringing on the heartache and it cuts off before switch 625.
Ah to be young in '81
YES!!! I can sleep again...
Exactly. Well said by all.
I just saw Joan Jett, Motley Crue, Poison had to cancel, and Def Leppard in Nashville (June 30, 2022). They played this version and it was PHENOMINAL!! Def Leppard really carried this concert, they still got it! Vince Neil was a disappointment.
Sadly Vince wasn't much better on the "All Bad Things Must Come To An End" tour either. We spent hundreds to have second row seats. I wasn't about to pay that much money to see them again.
I saw them in San Antonio and hearing them play this song life was magical man and yeah Vince should stop singing he should of went out on a high note but Def Leppard rocks man
Steve steamin Clark!!!
🤘🔥 def Leppard 🤘🏻
Hand in glove. Soooo good. Thank you.
Just like Feeling That Way & Anytime by Journey. Always better together!!
A secret piece of awesome for ya all!!! God Bless Def Leppard
This is the best version, and one of the greatest songs of all time
Best def Leppard song
Agreed. And they have some good ones. :)
Incredible!!
The best song they made ever
Stay out of my yard though!!!
pura buena melodia...let s feeling right
😓 I Love You Jeanette & I Miss You ❣️
This cool as hell
Thanks for the upload of this ONE song!
High 'n' Dry is an amazing album.
Awesome
Happy Birthday sexy Joe! 8/1/24
Good going... that is SO "TRUE"...!!! 😁❤️🥳🪞👁️👁️🕊️🗽
Going 125 to switch 625
Breaking Heartbreak from Switch 625 is as bad as breaking Good Morning Girl from Stay Awhile
👍👌
I Love You So Much! Why Can't You See that My Love is True! ❤️
As it Should be.............
I WORKED UNDERWATER BACK THEN,,,FIRES,,,EXPLOSIONS AND FIGHTING STEAM TURBINE FIRES WITH STEAM...
HOLY FUUUUUCK
Deaf Leopard 🤘🏻
Manly Romantic Song😊😊😊😊
I liked the band better when Pete Willis was in it
They were never able to even come close to how great High 'n Dry was.
Photograph was the only thing even remotely in the neighborhood. But the 1st time I saw the band w/some guy who had a name too much like the dude from Genesis, I was like "wtf"?
👍👌✊
@6:20 - you can hear this influence in Nintendo game music (Castlevania, for example)
I'm just waking up too what I got. And it's fuck all
Not good!
This is when The Mandela effect went into affect!!!
F'n HATE that Heartbreak always gets played on Sirius XM *without* Switch 625. They might as well play Van Halen's Eruption and go on to the next song on the playlist as if You Really Got Me is an unnecessary play.
Not sure if I remember correctly but when they resealed High N Dry did they replace Switch with Me and My Wine?
No. But a remix of this song and Me and My Wine were bonus tracks on some reissues in the 1980s. Switch 625 was still on the album.
WHERE CAN I PURCHASED THIS LONG VERSION?
On the original album. I've had it since 1982 and it ain't for sale.
