It’s a really nice aquarium, when I was a kid I got to sleep in the shark room bc I was at a marine biology summer camp. It’s a fun place to go, corpus also has the Lexington and Botanical Gardens
Great to see the Texas State Aquarium expanding and doing well! I remember back in 1990 when people thought this was a crazy idea and a wild dream. You can see a lot of these fish if you snorkel at the Port A jetties, or the oil rigs a few miles offshore. No shark cages there though.
Any wild animal can be dangerous, but sharks are not extremely dangerous to humans. You can look up the science and statistics. Facts over fear. Humans are way more dangerous. 🤷🏻♀️

My absolute fave species of shark are the bull sharks, one day I’ll get to swim with sharks. Love that this is available!!
